warpedskydiver 0 #1 October 4, 2007 Hey what do you think is up with this? I installed a stage III jet kit and now when I crack the throttle the front tire comes off the ground! Oh what ever shall I do? maybe it needs a turbo with 25lbs of boost?
skydemon2 0 #2 October 4, 2007 You could try a larger diameter wheel or perhaps some weight up front!! Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone! I like to start my day off with a little Ray of Soulshine™!!

normiss 622 #5 October 4, 2007 either you need an extended swingarm or simply switch the whole thing out for a vespa...you clearly don't have enough jumps for the bike... next, you're going to need a new rear tire.

warpedskydiver 0 #7 October 4, 2007 Quotewhat kind of bike 1992 GSXR1127cc Yosh cams, Stage III, etc. Let's face it it needs a turbo with 25lbs. of boost so it can pass economy cars, trucks, and speeding jets.
warpedskydiver 0 #8 October 4, 2007 It's wearing a fresh set of metzlers, I think they should last two oil changes, three if I am easy on them. That Kevlar belt in the rear tire really seems to stop deformation on loading. I will post a pic of it today after I wash it. My bike was in a magazine due to my friend being the photographer for that rag. That was when it was new. But I do have an excellent photo from the negative, it was taken with a hassleblad, and fiber optic light source.

sriddy 0 #10 October 4, 2007 You needed a jet kit to get the front tire off the ground??? You should add nitrous when you throw on the turbo. Maybe even one of those JATO bottles like in the urban legend.
warpedskydiver 0 #11 October 4, 2007 I was able to launch from five grand without the front wheel bouncing, or the rear tire spinning. Now it is a bit harder to do that.
warpedskydiver 0 #12 October 4, 2007 My neighbor across the street has a bored and stroked 750i Ninja, it has 25lbs. of boost and nitrous!!! custom compressor housing with an enormous oriface and counter rotating blades!!! I like the fact that with a hair dryer on it you do not need much of an exhaust pipe. I am going to powder coat his exhaust pipe in bright red,to match his bike. I once had the desire to put some of that stuff on my CBR, but then I quickly realized I get into enough trouble already. I guess I'm not quite out of common sense yet.
