Agreed. B&H is top notch. KEH.com is also great for used gear. Adorama.com is also good.

Stay away from the gray market ripoff places - you will regret that 'great deal', quickly.

I do most purchases like that from Amazon.com. Good prices, free shipping, never had a problem with them. Returned a digital camera to them once before... no issues. When I bought my last camera, I signed up for the amazon.com visa card too... $30 off, and the reward points for purchases go toward amazon gift certificates. I then use the gift certificates to buy ink for my printer most of the time.

A good price comparison site is www.nextag.com (sorry, don't know how to make it a clicky). Be sure to enter your "ship to" zip code and it will calculate both tax and shipping.

Like someone else mentioned, the people at B&H Photo are really knowledge...and although their prices are not way out of line, B&H is rarely the cheapest but they are very reputable.

Also, if you want some read some reviews on digital cameras, go to www.dpreview.com or www.imaging-resource.com
