I did the same thing when I first got contacts, and I couldn't understand why my eyes were so unhappy and I couldn't put my lenses back in. skymama 35 #37 December 7, 2007 A few years back, my Dad missed a bag when he was unloading groceries out of my Mom's car. It was uncooked chicken and stayed there for 2 days once. The stench was so bad, he was in really big trouble. It still gets mentioned about once a year. Didn't have anything like that, but back when I was using contacts, I thought I had lost one (popped out) and couldn't find it, so I went and put a new one in, but something just didn't feel right. So I get in front of the mirror and take the new lense out and peel back the lids... D'OH! There it was, the original, tucked up near the top of the eyeball!
