I did a little research and found a good estimate for the amount of water in a general size cloud and its weight. Quote We can model the cloud as a sphere of, say, 1 kilometer radius. Then if we use 1 gram per cubic meter as a "representative" water content, we get an estimate for the mass of the cloud of 4 billion grams, or 4 million kilograms. Anyway, I just think it is cool that they float around. It's like f-in magic to see something that big just stroll by. Some days, they are all cruising by in the same direction at, say... 50 mph. Where are they all going? Ahhh... west.... heading for the beach... beautiful day to go to the beach. Something that weights 4 million kg is floating past. Under-appreciated magic.
