nicknitro71 0 #26 November 28, 2005 It's all relative to the length of the lines too...Longer lines (usually bigger canopies) more shrinkage for the same number of jumps than shorter lines. The other side of the coin is that small canopies are more susceptible to trim than big ones. On my Spectra lined canopies (sub 100) my mark is one inch. I am not a fan of Spectra by any means. We have much better alternatives nowadays, read HMA...and of course the good-old dacron for those who don't care about performance or bigger canopies...I'd go with dacron for anything bigger than 170...Memento Audere Semper
TaylorC 0 #27 November 28, 2005 hey rob what is the best way to get in touch with you about getting a canopy relined? Do you know what kind of prices i am looking at for getting my cobalt 135 relined with vectran?
riggerrob 561 #28 November 29, 2005 Call me at (604) 488-9714. I won't discuss dollars over an open forum as it is considered impolite. A re-line will cost you the price of a factory line kit plus three or four hours of labor to install. As for Vectran lines, ask Atair if they will sell you a Vectran line kit.
