Conundrum 1 #2 November 14, 2008 Some good captures in there but the photos could use some post processing. They seem really grainy. What are you shooting with?
jtval 0 #3 November 14, 2008 Yea, unfortunately I had to shoot at 400iso due to the low lighting in the back of the C-130. I did shoot RAW + JPEG But I have no idea how to edit RAW yet.My photos My Videos
Conundrum 1 #4 November 14, 2008 Editing RAW is easy. just open the image and play around with levels, curves, color balance, filters, etc. Just like you would with a .jpeg
jtval 0 #5 November 15, 2008 I just haven't found a good way to know where to bend the curves (in a GENERAL sense) I'm never happy with the way they come out. Most of those photos are stacked so you could see the people in the plane and the outside as well.My photos My Videos
Conundrum 1 #6 November 15, 2008 Can I take a crack at one of the photos?
PhreeZone 15 #7 November 15, 2008 Grab Lightroom 2.1, it is one of the best and easiest RAW editors. It uses ACR as its engine but it works way smoother then Photoshop does. The Cataloging will just blow you away once you learn it also.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

bozo 0 #9 November 15, 2008 A C-130....five jumpers....our tax dollars at work. At least a friend got to do the jumps. Good going JT ! bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. Chicks dig scars.
jtval 0 #10 November 15, 2008 Thanks Bozo. 5 jumpers? Gosh on. We had to cram 14 of us on that thing. It serves a dual purpose. Spectators get to see the C-130 fly and we don't have to launch another aircraft to get the jumpers in the sky. My photos My Videos
