Nothing like lots of horsepower, quick thinking, and a big pair of brass ones.:D

that was pretty impressive. So i take it the horsepower and his skillls made up for the missing wing?
Me: I want to ride a bull out of a skyvan.
vegasjoe: How the hell are you going to land that thing?
Me: Who said anything about landed with it? I think after we'll have some Bar-B-Que.

In this case, computer graphics and creative photograph made up for the missing rules of physics.

It actually is possible - it's been done with models a couple times. I believe the plane you see land in the video is a model airplane.

You can create lift with the side of the fuselage - which is how they do it. Granted, you need a pretty kick ass airplane to be able to do it!

Its not a model.. It neither behaves nor looks like a real object.. Just replay the part where it lands a few times and you'll see it doesnt look right at all.. But i aggree its some good CGI work. My uncle works as a aircraft technician on airliners for Scandinavian Airlines and he e-mailed the clip to me believing it was real.. And then he got all grumpy when i told him it wasn't:P
