Will_Evo 0 #1 August 31, 2009 Click Me for full article Thoughts? Could it ruin the marvel comic series by Disney limiting funds to the Marvel section of their already huge enterprise? Or is this a good thing, and now Marvel has a bigger funding thus they will produce more, with better quality movies, games, etc..? What do you think? -EvoZoo Crew
quade 3 #2 August 31, 2009 Disney is a pretty smart company. They're also THE company that started movie merchandizing (toys & shit) way back in the late 1920s. My only real comment is that the deal seems behind the curve and it's a property they probably should have gotten 10 years ago. Disney also owns Pixar, if you look at what they've done there, you can see exactly what they'll do with Marvel. They really don't fuck with the creative. They're all over the merchandise.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
kbordson 8 #3 August 31, 2009 WOW!! I hope they don't "disnify" Deadpool[/url] I should write a letter: Dear Walt (I know you're dead, but lets still keep this informal) 1. Please don't kill Deadpool. He can't die. M'kay 2. Please don't make Wade sane. 3. Please do NOT make a ride a Disneyland that is the Weapon X Experience - or if you do, do not include any real evil scientist experimenting with genetic mutations, mercenaries complete with sniper rifles and swords or Alex Haydens dinner. Those are all to scary for the kiddies. 4. No disney ending. Siryn could do so much better. 5. Don't make him look like Tom Cruise again, he hated that. 6. Remember that he likes numbered statements. BillyVance 34 #4 September 1, 2009 I was just wondering..... what if Walt Appel was the founder of Walt Appel World? What the hell do you think that destination resort would have been like? Likely an "amusement park" that would be VERY amusing... but NOT one to bring small children or even animals. DavidB 0 #8 September 1, 2009 Well, Dizney DID ruin one of the world's greatest "adult playgrounds" when they moved to Times Square in NYC... When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
quade 3 #9 September 1, 2009 QuoteWhat will become of the Superman ride at Universal Studios? That's a question that has been buzzing around the theme park circles since the announcement. It's really hard to say. My guess is Disney legal suits are working on ways of breaking contracts at this very moment. It's not like those iron rides live or die based on the name as would say, the "Star Tours" or "Indiana Jones" rides at Disneyland.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Shouldn't be a conflict, should there?

apt3studiodiver 0 #13 September 3, 2009 funding or no funding, it could mean possible censoring, possible change of artists.. all would negatively effect marvel in IMO.. i grew up with marvel and its been years since i checked one out but some of the best comics ever. just hope disney doesn't ruin it for my son now. www.apt3studios.com www.musicpromotiononline.com www.internetcafegaming.com D.S. # 4321
