ntrprnr 0 #1 June 3, 2013 Anyone use it? And if so, anyone have any favorite services to transfer their cash into bitcoin? I use a few different ones, but always up for suggestions... Thanks._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

-Joey- 0 #3 June 3, 2013 I use it, but mainly to speculate. In fact, all the gear I bought this year I could afford because of what I made speculating bitcoin.Skydiving is serious business

-Joey- 0 #5 June 4, 2013 Well earlier this year, the market swings followed laughably predictable patterns. The exchange rate has stabilized quite a bit recently, though.

-Joey- 0 #8 June 5, 2013 Coinbase is legit, if you want to buy directly. If you want to buy on an open exchange, use mtgox.Skydiving is serious business
tommyh 0 #9 June 5, 2013 I have never used the site, but I like the idea behind localbitcoins.com. It keeps with the spirit of the P2P aspect of bitcoin. Pretty difficult to day-trade that way though, if that's what you're into. You can also find people selling bitcoins on ebay if you really want to use paypal. There are certain pitfalls to making an irreversible bitcoin transaction with a reversible paypal transaction though. There's usually a premium that you'll pay for BTC that's purchased off of a major exchange.
