Recommended Posts

We've all been under canopies when the wind speeds has been um ... marginal... So it should not comes much as a surprise....

AND ... it's Airspeed that keeps us flying.. and gusts and/or turbulence that can ruin your day

Damn, without any point of reference, it initially looked like it was coming down straight vertically.

Damn near was. Single bunny hop on landing to short roll.
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Notice how the gear leans on the big Boeings when the crab monster comes out...tilt tilt tilt!

What do you mean by lean? All I see is the aft wheels lower on approach which is normal. The triple land with the aft truck lower. There is an actuator that pushes it into that position. The 57 & 87bogey also lands aft first. The 67 is the only one that lands that has to be different and the front bogey touches down first. Why? I have no idea.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
