Jumpmunki 0 #1 August 29, 2004 i have a rig that is oldish, i've had her modified to be freefly friendly and am on i tight budget.. i was wondering if there was anything i could do to make her more comfortable in the legs and maybe the back and shoulders at a push ... any ideas that wont require a mega mega remake of the harness & container? Unstable 8 #2 August 30, 2004 Send it to the manufacturer and ask them just what you asked us. I had an oldish Dolphin (1997) that I sent into Altico and had Mike put extra/new padding along the yoke - Made it Super Comfy!! =========Shaun ==========
riggerrob 562 #3 August 30, 2004 Leg pads are easy to replace, but adding padding to the yoke can only be done by the original manufacturer - at great expense.

DJL 232 #5 August 30, 2004 Has anyone ever had thick neoprene or some other type of extra padding added to the legstraps?"I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
faulknerwn 37 #6 August 31, 2004 Yep. A couple of my rigs have foam padding slid down in the legstrap area held onto the outside by a couple of stitches. Works like a champ. W

W I did this with my old Vector. Slid in some foam that is pretty rigid, about 3/4 inch thick. It is now much more comfortable now. I didn't tack it down and it still seems to stay in place.....Steve1
Jumpmunki 0 #8 August 31, 2004 i got some work done by the original manafact and they didn't even do it right ! sent it back and it's still shit! going to get my local rigger lou lou to put the padding into the legs (it's all that matters) sounds like a good plan steve and faulknerwn !! *calls rigger*
Jethers203 0 #9 September 1, 2004 I knew a guy that had old backpack shoulder straps sewn onto his legstraps. It made the thing way more comfortable for him and wasn't at all noticeable. Clint
