byates 0 #1 February 24, 2008 Hello everyone, My name is Bryce and I'm a skydiver, well training to be one any way. I'm on stage 6 of the AFF program and have a total of 6 jumps. One of the best things I've found out about skydiving is the people. Everyone at my dropzone (Perris, CA) is awesome. I'm hoping ti will be the same online. Regards, Bryce

byates 0 #5 March 26, 2008 Sweet thanks for the big welcome everyone. Latest update. I've now passed my AFF (8 Stage / 8 Jumps) and just did my first solo jump this past weekend (and yess did buy a round for the bar). Look forward to seeing everyone at the DZ
AllisonH 0 #6 March 27, 2008 How are you liking things at Perris? I was there 2 years ago when I had ~40-50 jumps and had a great time. I'll be back out there the end of April/beginning of May for about a week.
byates 0 #7 March 27, 2008 The facility and people are great out at Perris, although I'm biased as this is the only DZ I've jump so far. Look forward to seeing you there soon.
AllisonH 0 #8 March 27, 2008 It was the third DZ I jumped at, and the first big one. I was new and didn't know much about what to look for, but I definitely liked it. You're right about the people - everyone I dealt with there was awesome. Looking forward to getting back out there.
byates 0 #9 June 6, 2008 I'm also most there. Just two more jumps and I will have the A license. I'm planning on getting these two done in about two weeks, but the idea of skipping work right now and heading out to Perris is almost unbearable.
brucet7 0 #10 June 6, 2008 The skipping work sure sounds familiar. In fact, if it wasn't raining and a cloud ceiling of about 600 ft, I think I would. Enjoy the ride.POPS #10623; SOS #1672
byates 0 #11 June 8, 2008 So I decided to skip work and go jump. I was able to get 3 jumps in, my A license test, beers for everyone and thrown into the pool! See ya at the DZ!
SkyPainter 0 #12 June 14, 2008 That is just AWESOME!! Congrats on the A!! I am soooo jealous right now! I was supposed to get the tandem and ground school for the AFF course this weekend, but the @##&!!%^# weatherman is delaying that! Next Sunday is supposed to be perfect here, and I have cancelled everything but jumping for the day. I can't wait! I will get maybe two more wind tunnel sessions in before I do the tandem (even THAT is fun!) to keep me sane before next weekend. I understand the addiction, trust me, I have a few others (sports) as well! But I think they will pale in comparison, and am saving as much money as I can right now in anticipation. Already out looking at how much personal gear is gonna cost! hehehehe..... Congrats again on the A license!!! Jump to live.
