But now I'm back in London where the weather is bad & im skint, havent jumped for 2 weeks, suffering major withdrawals. The real world sucks. Thanks to everyone I met at Mercer, I had a blast! Peej 0 #2 March 7, 2006 Hey Pippa, welcome to the forums With skydiving you will permanently go through periods of debt and withdrawl and you'll just have to get used to it i'm afraid As for the weather, i met a freefly coach from the UK recently who says he manages to get a couple hundred in every year! So get some cash and get out there! Take Care PJ Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

pippa 0 #6 March 7, 2006 Thanks! I'm hoping to get out to Florida later on this year, my brother has a house near Orlando. I havent checked out what DZ's are closest to him, where do you jump? As soon as I've sold all my worldly possessions, i'll be there.....
pippa 0 #7 March 7, 2006 A rig, a plane & blue skies. Its great when the fog lifts allowing one to see clearly. Even if it IS tunnel vision. Addicted, moi....?
skymama 35 #8 March 7, 2006 I live near Orlando too. He has dz's in every direction, it depends on what side of Orlando he's at. North of Orlando is Deland, to the east is Skydive Space Center in Titusville, South is Lake Wales and Southwest is Z-hills. My home dz is Deland, we get a lot of Brits there. I hope you get a chance to visit us the next time you are here. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
pippa 0 #9 March 7, 2006 Not sure which side of Orlando he's at but sounds like I'll be spoilt for choice! I look forward to catching up with y'all out there.
Scoop 0 #10 March 7, 2006 Hey, looks like you'll be jumping at same DZ as me in UK. I downgraded my car too! Bought my rig and paid for AFF. Still couple more jumps before get licence though. I should be there this weekend.
 jakee 1,274 #11 March 10, 2006 Sweet!! I did my AFF at Mercer 2.5 years ago, got 50 jumps out there before coming back to the UK (Spent so much there I didn't even get to see the rest of the country). Are the Hungarian Mafia still instructing out there? I usually jump at Netheravon, give us a shout if you're ever there.Do you want to have an ideagasm? If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
