IB52 0 #1 November 12, 2004 I just wanted to say hi to everybody, introduce myself and say thanks to all the posters - I've learned a lot over the last couple of months by reading the forums. I did my first tandem back in June a couple of weeks before my 52nd birthday. My son gave me a gift certificate for my birthday last year but it took almost a year to finally go (long story...). I am completely hooked; there's nothing like it. Better late than never, I say! Since I've convinced a bunch of my friends to jump at least one tandem, they don't think I'm quite as crazy as they first thought after they experienced it for themselves. (The other day, I overheard my son calling me the skydiving evangelist.) I am completely and absolutely hooked. There's nothing quite like it, is there? I never thought I would be able to do it being afraid of heights but it never seems to bother me and there is no way I can stop now enjoy your new found fun and keep jumping.
