VLASIM/LIBLICE, Central Bohemia (PDM staff with CTK) 29 August - A parachutist jumped from a television transmitter in Liblice yesterday morning, but his jump did not succeed as his parachute got entangled in a rope. The parachutist remained suspended in air foar about an hour, the spokesman for the local firefighters Ladislav Krivan told the Czech News Agency.

The firefighters had to disentangle him with a helicopter.

The skydiver stayed 270 metres above the ground, roughly 85 metres under the top of the tower. One of the firefighters suspended himself on a rope from the helicopter and went to him with the help of a crane. He tied him to himself, cut off the parachute ropes and then they landed. No one was injured, Krivan said.

The firm Ceske radiokomunikace - JTR will sue the man.

In the past two months, three people have tried the jump there.

thats answers that post from a few eeks ago about how to get someone down from a cable..should have done a longer delay if you ask me...

if he had 1 of those rigs with a reserve could he have cut away ?
or would he have risked falling onto wires directly below down lower ?

3 people in the past 2 months ?

You need to take there fucking parachutes away from them until they grow-up and learn how to make a BASE jump.
