b52 0 #1 January 6, 2013 I have jumped both suits extensively and just can't decide which one to order. In the beginning I didn't care about the grippers, but I am slowly starting to like them. I want to use the suit mostly for acro and some flocking. I usually jump a Havok. I'd love to hear your opinions and why you chose one over the other. Thanks. mccordia 73 #2 January 6, 2013 The main difference is subtle variations in steering. If acrobatics are part of what you like doing, the Shadow seems like the most logical choice. Also being that its more in line with the Havok you already jump. Regardless, you will be happy with whatever you do end up choosing.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? b52 0 #3 January 6, 2013 Since the difference is minor, why do you prefer the Shadow for example?
birdynamnam 28 #4 January 6, 2013 Q: do you like to fly handsfree? I fly the Havok for that reason (only)
b52 0 #5 January 6, 2013 I like both. I just wonder if the grippers are advantageous for small inputs?
SkymonkeyONE 3 #6 January 10, 2013 I own both types of suits, but I generally fly my "grippered" suits. I don't have any problem taking grips with the phantom and I personally like backflying better with grippers. Again, personal preference. Chuck
