  1. I have one because I wingsuit a lot and I love it! I decided to mount it on the right side because I want to always see my D-handle. It doesn't interfere with the RSL. 2. No, but I'm going today! (IMAX 3d) "The 'perfect' parachute jump was thought to be one where the opening shock and touchdown were simultaneous" -Lyle Cameron, ~1965 --- Falling-With-Style.com
  3. Your right. The didn't include the toss in the video. - The first frame is the pilotchute on his legwing. - The the pilot comes forward. - The flyer reaches back (looking for the bridle/pilot chute) - Grabs the bridle and pulls it in the clear air stream - Pilotchute comes out of the burble and does what it does best. If the toss was good, than this is bad... If the toss was bad; we don't have to worry. 4. Thank you! So true "The 'perfect' parachute jump was thought to be one where the opening shock and touchdown were simultaneous" -Lyle Cameron, ~1965 --- Falling-With-Style.com
  5. I mounted the device on the back of my helmet. And when I did some backflying, there were moments when the FlySight lost his (or her?) fix. Ergo, I experienced a common situation where it wouldn't work and would be unsafe. 6. Colorwise there is a point where 'God of the skies' heads more towards 'Queen of the desert' 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' Not one of the best films with Hugo Weaving. But very inspirational, wingsuit-color-wise. ;) "The 'perfect' parachute jump was thought to be one where the opening shock and touchdown were simultaneous" -Lyle Cameron, ~1965 --- Falling-With-Style.com
  7. There it is: http://contour.com/camera/contour_plus For me the most exiting feature is the 'live streaming—via HDMI and external transmitter'. Would it work when you're up in the air, and people watching on the ground? Too bad it doesn't record 1920p @ 60 fps. 8. On the one hand I love the tiny little details that slow-mo gives you ... very beautiful. :) But on the other, you lose the sense of speed and action that makes the sport so spectacular. 9. There it is: http://www.bikerumor.com/2011/04/17/spy-shot-contour-hds-new-plus-pro-sumer-camera/#more-30686 "The 'perfect' parachute jump was thought to be one where the opening shock and touchdown were simultaneous" -Lyle Cameron, ~1965 --- Falling-With-Style.com
  10. Sounds exciting! But where is it? -Y. "The 'perfect' parachute jump was thought to be one where the opening shock and touchdown were simultaneous" -Lyle Cameron, ~1965 --- Falling-With-Style.com
  11. Very, very nice! Thank you for inspiring me. I received my device today and I did the same. I also bought Phillips headphones for 6 euro's, cut them, and put them in the audible pocket. (They fit nicely) And to avoid questions like: 'what is that thing on your helmet?'; I added the text 'GPS' next to the FlySight.
