As I have worked in restuarants and know how servers can be. There were plenty that I worked with that would complain tot the hostess about pretty mcuh everything under the sun. Most of the hostesses used to tell me that I was their favorite server because I was the only one the never came up and bitched or yelled at them. I pretty much believe everything balances out in the end, some tables tip well and some don't, its part of the job. But anyway, I would basically say, I have a rotation to follow and I am following that rotation. If you don't like it talk to the manager. But talking to me like that will get you absolutely no where with me. If that does not help and they keep threatening you I would go to the manager. It is really not tattletaling if they are threatening you and being totally out of line. Tattletaling would be when you knew they were not doing something that they are supposed to be doing or they are doing something that they are not supposed to be doing, and you told on them. But when they are effecting your work, that is not tattletaling. Besides I would say you can make their life more miserable that they can make yours (i.e tables full of women, women with a bunch of kids, elderly people, and pretty much anyone else that you think will not tip or will be a royal pain in the butt). I just want to say that I had a great time and I am glad that I came. It was great to see everyone and to meet several new people. Personally, I kneel on or near the gromets and roll the canopy towards me (pretty much opposite from what most people do). I have found that this keeps the slider and everything else under control (for me anyway). "Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity"

If the cops called off the search who would the skydver yell to when and if they found the body? Look at namgrunts post for an idea of what the area is like and why it would not have been practical for everyone to go searching. If they don't see the body until they step on it, that would disturb the scene. Even though it is not a crime scene I am sure the cops would like to find the scene the way it was. Plus looking for a lost child is a lot different then looking for a dead body in that condition. Also, if your read carternick79's post you would have seen that people (at least him) asked to help and the cops told them no. If you weren't there or have never been there then you have no idea what it is like terrain wise or how things played out on the search. Actually the original post did not ask for opinion, it asked a question. It did not say "in your opinion". Nor does it ask how you would feel if it was a family member or friend. That may be your interpretation of what the person asked I know several of the people involved in this incident and I know that I did not see any of them it the pictures of the party that happened that night partying it up. I only saw one of them in a picture and it didn't look like they were involved in the festivities, but I could be wrong. Also, if you go back an read the posts on the first page there was a post from person that was at the boogie and he stated that most people did not even know about what happened until the next day. And he also stated that he asked if he could help with the search and the authorities said no. From what this person's (the tandem passenger) best friend has said about him in another thread it seems to me like he would not have wanted the party to be cancelled and would have wanted everyone to celebrate life. But that is my opinion. But generally people that have a lust for life would rather have people celebrating life then mourning their death. Once again that is my opinion. There have been a fair amount of fatalities (granted none like this) at boogies and that has never stopped a boogie before, people kept jumping and partying at night. So from the way people are talking on here the next time there is a fatality at a boogie that they should cancel the entire event, send everyone and not let people celebrate life. And no one has posted that they did not want the party to continue. So to me it seems that you are your basing your opinion on speculation, not fact. This is to everyone that seems to want to pass judgment. How do you know if they didn't ask to let the party go on? You weren't there, as well as the majority of the people posting here, so you don't know what took place and what didn't. That is besides the party. Maybe his family and friends asked to not cancel the party. Maybe a fair amount of people didn't even know about it. Maybe people just deal with things in their own way, so whose to say who is right and who is wrong. Maybe there were plenty of people that did not party it up all night. Maybe several people went home because of the incident. Unless you were there you don't know and should not pass judgment because you don't know all the details. Lucky girl. Unfortunately I am not able to make it. That is unless you have a friend that will offer to fly out here and pick me up Things didn't work out the way I was hoping them to so that I could make it. But it is an awesome boogie and if you have the chance to make it I definately would go, its worth it. I had such a blast last year.
