Sure.. we've both got a Cessna-182 and a Cessna-206 with seatbelts.. I think its obligatory thing here.. Has something to do with being the pilot's responsibility or so I was told. And yes.. they are a b|tch to get fastened.. Blue ones!

Wow..... Let's see.. You've got two options: either work your butt off and please your gf, OR sell your gf and go skydiving!

Nice! Printed & stuck on the whiteboard... Let us know how the contest turns out..

-- Why not take a very firm (but unorthodox) *grip* on each of them? -- Betcha they daren't PULL the cord!!

Maybe you can invite your parents to come to the DZ on a sunny day and show them how it all works and what sort of safety-precautions one can take to ensure a safe landing? Helped for my parents... Blue Skies and Cold Beer... what a day!!

Thanks for the input, I hope you soon get to jump the Electra a bit more

Thanks for replying! Couldn't find 'em at paragear, must have had my eyes shut. Anyway: I was offered a TZX-185 as a substitute for a Sabre150, I now know this is not right. Blue Skies

Thanks for replying.. hmm.. think I'd rather buy a used Sabre then..?! Any idea where I can find information on min. and max. weights for the TZX? Or can you tell me what size could be considered a substitute for a Sabre150?

Hi all, Here's one more.. Can anyone tell me something about the flying/opening characteristics of the TurboZX? Until now I've only jumped with Sabre's (210/190/170), can the TurboZX be compared to a Sabre? Thanx in advance.

Hi all, I am looking for a good first canopy. Has anyone made any jumps on the Electra (Parachutes de France) yet? Can anyone tell me more about its flying and opening characteristics? The only source of information I am able to find is the Parachutes de France - homepage, which I don't consider to be an objective source of information :0) Can this parachute be compared to (let's say) a Sabre? Any information would be appreciated.

Hi all, Reading this thread I thought it would make some sort of sense to remove the rig and stow it away or just sit on it... Why not do just that? (mental note for the jumper without a rig: you just lost your privilege to jump) Bram
