  1. And that’s your simpler solution!? Holy shit, I never want to read a complex version. I was way off base with my attempt at a standard day or drag coefficient of 0.0, baseline analogy. You win Robert99.
  2. Robert99 opines about a “simpler” solution with: “The simplest way for the money to get to Tena Bar is a direct jump or, more likely, crater on Tena Bar.” I don’t see from a process standpoint, how that could possibly be ‘simpler’. I’m assuming you have no aviation experience and therefore don’t have any knowledge about instrument flying. V-23 is an airway which has been surveyed under the direction of the FAA, which guarantees obstacle avoidance and navaid reception which follows beams transmitted by radio stations. Getting the point here on what constitutes simple? That means sans bias, unicorns and wishful thinking using available data which was: an airline cleared to depart SEA, via V-23. How is deviating from V-23 to overhead Tena Bar more simplistic? Where would this deviation take place? Where is it recorded? Where is the source, I all but begged for? Farflung quotes self: “End of data. END…. THE E-N-D The only extra would be from inference, bias or voodoo, at this moment.” Do you see how I said the model ended with two statements? Is V-23 an airway used by aircraft? Did it cross the Columbia? Is that simple? I did NOT say correct, just simple AND ONE OF MANY, MANY, MANY solutions supported by available data. I can’t get over how this appears to be so complex, when the intent is the polar opposite. This has already had too many iterations and the money clearly fell from your unicorn based model. You win, sincerely, you win, there’s no room for dozens, let alone two answers. You are right Robert99, you win. Doesn’t matter because it just magically appeared over Fazio’s and that’s simpler than a commercial airliner, following a Victor airway, as planned and cleared, and followed by radar, and pseudo-verified by an emergency placard at Toutle, which also times out with a vehicle moving between 160 and 175 knots. Amazing how blinding a person’s bias is to such a simple equation. All you have to do with the ‘simpler’ proposal is: add several dozen action points. Not good Robert99, but you win. Flight 305 inexplicably changed heading and flew direct to Tena Bar while spoofing radar, avoiding ATC detection and then reporting south of the Portland navaid, at a time consistent with an airframe following V-23. The plausibility lies in the fact that there is nothing to indicate this path was taken, therefore proving it happened via magic. This subject is clearly too incendiary and toxic to apply any sort of rational process, since the very suggestion of a two step process, with one action point, has some blinding effect which ultimately MUST lead to a pre-selected answer. Got it. Nothing will be clarified by georger or anyone else on this subject, since there is clearly a solution out there just looking for a problem to solve. Get a shovel, some Southwest and prove how sure your are of your work. I don’t have the “will” to continue.
  3. Here’s the starting point, official or otherwise: Centerline, infinitely small point, V-23. Money release point, anywhere along V-23 centerline, and over the Columbia River. End of data. END…. THE E-N-D The only extra would be from inference, bias or voodoo, at this moment. End of model. There is no more. “In the beginning……:” blah, blah, blah “Amen.” This is the simplest design to deliver some money to Tena Bar. Agreed? Yes/No? If No, What is a simpler solution? Present it. If Yes, what data set would move or modify the original points? You must have a source, no more ‘because I say so’ or wishful thinking. It just can’t be this difficult to make this point. How do you know Cooper didn’t jump over Guam? If you can reason that out, or into the equation, then any other data set you possess or covet, should work just as well. It would be a matter of resolution and not process, since they are the same. Did Cooper jump over Christmas Island? See, two places are on or off the list, but YOU maintain the things, because I want to know what lies in the realm of most probable (least complex)…. to less probable, based upon things which exclude unicorns, wishful thinking and pure bullshit.
  4. Georger states: “Had the dredge spoils never been put on Tena Bar would the monies have been found there at all, over months.” That’s the beginning of many unknowns which would be good to have cataloged, but is typically decimated by the rogues gallery once they sense something may not lead to their preselected answer. Tena Bar is a site of massive material processing. There are hundreds of thousands of yards of material, which share some homogeneity by virtue of being mechanically processed within a dozen miles. How much variation exists in that band (I don’t know)? Is it significant? Has it been mapped? Second variable is the former Tomahawk Island, which is directly under V-23 and had 40% of the landmass removed, for the construction of four marinas, between 1970 and 1985. This excavation had nothing to do with the Corps of Engineers since it wasn’t about maintaining navigability and the schedule of material transport is an unknown (to me). I checked with the historical society but had little luck regarding the rabid construction projects. So the dredge ‘Slot Machine’ has three reels (at least) of probability. Spoil deposits to Tena Bar, ephemeral deposit by dropping off a Tomahawk Island barge (falling off the boat) or any other number of activities which dislodge or directly transport the bundle (erosion, serendipity). Either way, there was an enormous amount of materials being moved from 1970 -1985, with construction and the expansion (not just maintenance) of the navigable waterway. Tena Bar being downstream (DOWN-frapping-STREAM) from V-23 makes passive transport, a zero sum gain, since it could have been moved through other means. A minimum (minimum) protocol for the money should have included being in a bag, attached to a body/rig, being compressed under heavy equipment wheels, under several masses of material and in loose formats. The study with a single bundle is weak, anemic and so unbalanced as to be virtually worthless (save the single bundle theory). There are many, many, many reasonable unknowns to remove before engaging in some of the brain dead leaps of logic. How someone could even entertain arriving at some macro conclusion is pure folly. Of course, I make NO claim of any knowledge to any of the scant uncharted conditions listed. I do know, how very little, I do know.
  5. Georger, I’m such a simplistic animal when it comes to work and play. I’m motivated by my laziness and greed whenever I design a process or product. Simply put; fewer touch-points, mean less cost and lower probability of failure. UNTIL (until that is) something comes along which causes a material change to the less complex, less expensive and therefore more likely solution; many potential solutions can exist until the dependent variables are measured. This of course has been buttseksed off this thread with poorly hidden agendas, egos and the usual bevy of insecurities which make Olive Garden Restaurants stay in business. The simplest way to get anything from a plane traveling V-23, to Tena Bar would involve a drop in the Columbia River. One step and passive velocity, what could be simpler? All I’ve read is obscenely complex solutions which would be obvious if any of the professionals would invest the time to craft a process dialog (step by step) of how ‘their’ solution works. I would imagine they would be surprised at the voluminous amount of dependencies they would create and the vast number of timing elements which would transpire. That does not mean that it happened that way, and RobertMBlevins will have to remove his puckered lips from Tom Kaye’s starfish, it simply means it is the most simplistic solution as a starting point. RobertMBlevins licking some butthole at a museum will not change that equation any more than the ridiculous list of other reasons why some else’s theory is more gooder better. The fact that the very suggestion of dredging was shot down with such violence and bitterness, only indicated what a sorry crew of insecure underachievers were willing to sacrifice their credibility, for some little point. The Port of Portland told me they used all forms of dredging techniques and asked the rhetorical “How exactly would one remove a 24 inch obstacle with a 20 inch suction dredge?” That was the point I dropped the subject. I do get embarrassed. If some data puts Flight 305 right over Tena Bar, then I would have no desire to ‘force’ the flight back to centerline because my non-thinking boner won’t permit it. I’ve never been closed to many solutions in the matrix, just baffled at the total vacuum of sophistication regarding process analysis. Wills always beat out wits.
  6. There’s nothing funny about empty claims of using the stuff…. then getting caught.
  7. Mr. Wizard!! Mr. Wizard!! Twizel Twazel Twazol Trome Time for this one to go home……
  8. Just as I had suspected there was no ‘software’: “…the transparencies were created using copying machines…..” So many quibbles for such a simple answer.
  9. Fact validation sequence – INITIATED Anti-insult circuit- STANDBY This has already been discussed and re-animated by the same person outrage mode-OFF Check ‘safety wire’ for “This has already been discussed and re-animated by the same person outrage mode”-CHECK Circuit breaker for “This has already been discussed and re-animated by the same person outrage mode”- OPEN Validation of comment on DBC Thread checklist- COMPLETE
  10. RobertMBlevins voluntarily pronounced, with the full faith and credit of his name: “….but when it comes to non-fiction I require facts and verification.” How noble, how very, very noble and pure to require facts AND verification. I applaud such honest and un-insulting operating parameters. RobertMBlevins continues by displaying his honorable labors with: “Using facial recognition software, we created……” We? RobertMBlevins and someone else, have clearly created ‘something’ using facial recognition software. But what? How can I put this ever so delicately as not to…. Oh, I fear I’ve already said too much…. I need to make this so very, very delicate…. I hesitate out of fear that the decorum, which produced electric underpants and uphill rivers may be offended….. oh my dear, how can I craft a question with such precision, adroitly written sans ambiguity, all the while brief enough to avoid fatigue? What was the name of the ‘facial recognition’ software? Ahhhhhh, shit I blew it! Too insulting and it hasn’t anything to do with Cooper. Why God, why do I do this? If ‘Captain Save-A-dorK ‘ swoops in with his mighty deflection shield, and a suggestion of a non-sequitur subject, possessing the same, or greater level of irrelevance to Cooper; then I know I deserve it. RobertMBlevins then honorably and logically responds to the question after ‘Captain Save-A-dorK’ makes an expected and painfully predictable appearance with: “The facial recognition and overlay was done by Skipp Porteous. I don't know the software they used or the process. I'm not going to go to the trouble of asking him….” He doesn’t know the software ‘THEY’ used or the process? Way to use those “facts and verification”. He also isn’t going to the trouble(?) of asking him. It’s not every day when one can witness ignorance and apathy in the same sentence, but then most people probably don’t know and don’t care, because it doesn’t have anything to do with Cooper. Well played one and all. You sure fooled me. Again, my deepest apologies for asking about the name of the software, over 25 comments ago, it was abrasive, harsh and cruel. I just hope that RobertMBlevins and 377, will find the strength to bravely and honestly continue their efforts in uncovering the identity of DB. Please know that anything you share or excrete regarding the subject, will be gratefully gobbled up by the peon intelligentsia, who cower at your feets…. feats…whatever.
  11. Don’t take this as an ‘insult’ 377, but that memory is failing you. Dredging was soundly rejected by RobertMBlevins, Skyjack71 and a couple other hydrological experts some months ago (I dared ask that very question). Why do you want to go over something that has already been soundly discussed and ‘logically’ rejected, like walkie talkies? Hmmm…. well I’m too stupid to figure it out. Besides, what does dredging have to do with Cooper? Kinda frustrating having the same process used on what you bring up, when in fact it appears you’re trying to deflect on behalf of RobertMBlevins for some odd reason. Did RobertMBlevins claim to use software as a way to confirm the validity of Kenneth Christainsen being DB Cooper? Yes/No? Does Kenny have anything to do with Cooper? Yes/No? If yes, do you want the claim verified or simply have the thread serve as some sort of hare-brained meeting place? Yes/No? Is it your intention to simply stir the pot since over 100 pages of discussion involving Bob Knoss repeating the same data, over and over and over was not met with any protests from you? Yes/No? Do YOU consider being deceived or manipulated insulting? Yes/No? Doesn’t matter as I’ve already got the answer to my question, and several I hadn’t anticipated. You’ll notice (or not) that when someone wants to push something, they will repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat, without ever being asked (25 reasons why Kenny is Cooper, Duane is Cooper, Snowmman should be allowed back, It’s time for Snowmman to be allowed back, Blevins wouldn’t be picked on if Snowmman was on the thread, Don’t ask Blevins to answer that question before Snowmman is paroled, In light of the fact that today has the letter ‘Y’ in it, Snowmman should be allowed back, A kind, intelligent and large penised person would allow Snowmman back, I see someone used a vowel in their comment – it’s time to allow Snowmman on the thread, I’ll allow some continued discourse and deception to devolve into a cesspool, then use that as justification to demand the return of Snowmman, Haven’t we already discussed this, and by the way, this would be a good time to allow Snowmman back). But repeating all those subjects dozens and dozens of times is perfectly acceptable, apparently as long as you live on the corner of Duplicity and Hypocrisy.
  12. Not really. It is a wicked simple question about the most banal of subjects, from a claim RobertMBlevins was more than happy to publish on the ‘world wide web’. What’s the name of the ‘facial recognition’ software which RobertMBlevins AND Skipp claim they used to do their analysis of Kenny’s photo? That’s all. Later I’ll get into ‘confidence scores’, reliability protocols, blind testing, image normalization, sample matrices and all the other yawn inducing elements, which will have some crying about relevance to Cooper or being ‘off topic’ as a foil to advance some poorly (I mean poorly) veiled agenda.
  13. Mrshutter45’s visual senses detected: “Duane's early pictures resemble the sketches but not the later photo's of him around Cooper's age. (ears stick out, noticeable age lines, hair style is different.” Skyjack71 unashamedly responds as if the world is blind with: “NOT what the Photo ID program used in the Casinos in 2000 told someone acting on my behalf.” Wow, an ID program used in casinos! That’s much better than that arcane fingerprint crap the FBI uses. I mean this is a ‘PROGRAM’ used in ‘CASINOS’ by ‘SOMEONE’. There’s no arguing the quality of that statement Mrshutter45, you have been bettered with anonymous people, using unnamed programs, in casinos for ‘as of yet’ unidentified purposes. So there. But it gets worse with RobertMBlevins stating with absolute authority: “Using facial recognition software, we created two transparencies. One of Christiansen’s face, one of the Cooper sketch. They were sized identically. When one is laid over the other, they are an exact match.” AN EXACT MATCH! From facial recognition software which shares the attribute of being un-named. I will predict that both of these ‘programs’ will remain un-named for all time. Too bad that Kenny had software which matches DB Cooper exactly, as that eliminates Duane completely. No argument about that. There you have it. Two experts in the use of technology who both used programs to ID DB Cooper, and it is Kenny Christiansen. Now all anyone has to do is wait for the name of the software program, then submit this to the authorities. Perhaps Mrshutter45 and the rest of us will appreciate what a normal size eared Adonis, with a cute little nose Duane is, instead of some Toucan gifted with a pair of extra wings on his head.
  14. Mrshutter45 informs: “nobody here is a "investigator" that includes you!!” That’s currently true. Why people throw around statements which apply to them is astonishing, and displays just what a detached and illogical world they must live in. But the thread DID have an investigator at one point. He was college educated, articulate, open with information, studied in one of the finest academies on the planet and participated in recurring training. This of course being Ckret, aka Special Agent Larry Carr. Now that’s about at investigate-y and qualified as one could get. So the thread was fortunate to have access to his knowledge base, insights and access to DB Cooper evidence. But one un-educated Troglodyte, with a massive sense of self importance had to make that all go away in a childish tantrum, because this investigator didn’t agree with everything she said. That is why in a battle of wills versus wits, the wills always win. Wills don’t care about dignity and therefore can’t be embarrassed. Like constantly asking about some ridiculous electric men’s underwear, where a person with a degree in electrical engineering says ‘No way’. Well, you see the electrical engineer didn’t explain it in a way which could be understood, so she kept asking people, all the while, pushing the DOWN button of the elevator of knowledge. Is she an expert in river dredging? She made numerous statements about dredge operations on the Columbia which were later proven to be utter basura. Why would someone engage in such an activity which is so easily checked, with one of the thousands and thousands of people who actually have training in and make a living from such an industry? The same is done in regard to aviation. There have been some whoppers published on this thread. But the thread, has a common…. thread associated with these absurd comments... they are from the same brain trust of blissful disregard of the facts. The weird part is that they all appear to feel as if they have successfully deceived everyone else.
  15. Skyjack71 says as if forgetting the previous comment: “Perhaps I should CLARIFY that - Duane had NO enemies during OUR marriage….” Oh, so the Santa Rosa Deputies looking for him were friends? Well the court papers would say something like; the People vs Duane ‘Friend to everyone’ Weber then prosecute him like an enemy for creating a fraudulent ID. Additionally Duane made friends in Colorado with (post 19552): “Everyone in the bar who was aware of Duane's sudden trip to the car and the bulge in his jacket and what the young man had said to me had their eyes peeled our way. In fact if someone had dropped a glass about that time there might have been panic (drama queen much?). Duane just sat there and glared at the man who had acted inappropriately.” This is how Duane makes friends? By glaring at young men with a huge bulge? Reads more like some sort of homo-erotic bodice buster, versus how to make friends and influence strangers. Nothing makes sense.
  16. I have to violently agree with everyone else that all the latest photos of Duane look nothing like the Cooper composite. He would be blind as a bat trying to tie knots or look at money in a bag since he was verified as farsighted by doctors and people with big ass titles. He would need those coke-bottles in the airplane to find the aft stairs. No argument there. The only thing that makes any sense is the ‘Electronic Underwear’ that Duane wore to receive navigation signals through some sort of vibrating device, which I don’t completely understand. Too complex for me and several amateur radio licensees, one with a double ‘E’. I’m afraid Duane probably took that secret to his grave, unlike his other confessions where he was hijacking Kool-Aid from every store and pantry he entered. Oh, yeaahh!
  17. The only thing RobertMBlevins and Skyjack71 have in common is responding to questions with anger and dismissal, rather than a sense of gratitude. They also share having absolutely no sources or references available when data is requested. Like prison jump schools, work records for the week of the crime, pictures of toupees or pictures of a ‘unique’ left handed, tie clasp. Oh, and they both engage in shooting down other suspects in some weird and freaky belief that their suspect will become top dog. They both believe that in order to participate on this thread someone must have a suspect to present for some goof ball reason, they can’t define, but believe it makes them somehow superior. They both have information which must be kept secret from the thread because members aren’t trustworthy, but they don’t go away. They are both experts in Columbia River dredging in spite of not knowing which way it flows or having any education on the subject, down to and including drawing a picture of ‘Bambi’ from a matchbook advertisement. They both are just looking for the truth but can’t reconcile differences between each other, thus making such a statement nothing but faux sincerity. They engage in repetitive, mantra-like diction which is published and republished with predictable regularity, which both deny. They both consider the FBI incompetent and misunderstood by participants of the thread, rather than the shorter solution. They both declare how they have open minds, but fail to faintly acknowledge anyone as the most remote of suspect and favor thermo-nuclear destruction of the suggestion. So as you can see they have nothing in common and their techniques like; “Wanting to discuss ‘other suspects’” comes across as genuine, honest and sincere. You see, they are completely different.
  18. I’ve never heard of a person with 26 fingerprints, but that’s different now thanks to the always focused and logical DB Cooper thread. At first I thought Duane would be the world’s fastest touch typist with a finger for every letter. But that distinction would only last until someone with 45 fingers came along who could handle the punctuation and numeric keys. Fortunately, I caught myself just in time there, cuz that could have been embarrassing. Then because I had a day off and several friends over, I decided to take inventory of my fingers and was saddened to realize I’ve got but ten. After a few hugs and a lot of tears, I was reassured that having ten fingers, fit well within the national average for a person of my age, height and weight. What a relief, but why was nature so generous to Duane, and stingy with the rest of us? Here’s a medical explanation which should demystify the subject, while preserving the thread’s honor and credibility and stuff. Duane was probably born with an underdeveloped, parasitic twin who would have supplied ten more prints besides Duane’s. You see, the parasitic twin would lift lady’s purses, room keys and jewelry while Duane kept them distracted with his magnetic charms. That’s how Duane managed to get away with so many crimes and only spend a scant 17 years in prisons and jails. He was that good. But hey, there were 26 fingerprints and I’ve only covered 20. Here’s where the story gets a little weird…. so I’m going to beg for a little indulgence for a moment. Duane’s underdeveloped, parasitic twin…. had an underdeveloped, parasitic twin with three fingers on each hand. The three fingered, second underdeveloped, parasitic twin couldn’t help with stealing from women on vacation, but his three fingered hands were perfect for tuning the Daka-Ware knobs, used on the receiver of electric underwear, which picked up navigation signals. It’s actually pretty obvious if you take the time to think about it. Obviously one person with his underdeveloped, parasitic twins would account for 26 fingerprints, the successful body of crimes and the operation of the electric underpants. It’s not that much of a leap to see how he was probably DB Cooper. Now if the FBI would only take the time to investigate Duane’s 26 fingerprints, there is no reason there shouldn’t be 26 matches from Flight 305.
  19. If the helmet is a good idea in situation X, THEN it would naturally improve the outcome in all other situations, including taking a shower. Otherwise, you need to establish some criteria for your baseline of acceptable death and dismemberment. I notice that when someone dies of lung cancer, the papers typically mention how they smoked two packs a day. That is a strange thing to report considering how when a person is killed in a car, they don’t mention how many miles they drive a year. Cuz if quitting or reducing tobacco consumption is good for your health, cutting back on driving would be too. But people want to drive, so they behave piously about things they don’t do, like chew tobacco and ride. New York City has found the cure for obesity by outlawing large drinks. That should keep all the fat asses baffled as they inexplicably begin to slim down, and enter the domain of anorexia. As far as the preaching, it can’t be escaped. When I would carry my brain-bucket in the grocery store, someone would often feel compelled to tell me a “I had a friend that rode those things, left half his face on the highway” fables, while all I wanted to do was purchase a few items and hit on the cashier.
  20. RobertMBlevins recalls: “On a more serious note, helmets are always a good idea. I did nursing home work for a while when I was in college. Saw this guy...six foot four, maybe 240 pounds, he could have been a pro football player. He got brain-damaged from crashing without a helmet. After that, he wore diapers and had to be fed and couldn't speak a word. And he drooled constantly. He was only twenty years old.” Unfortunately, I’ve never seen anyone who believes their own bullshit when it comes to driver safety. But they sure worry about everyone else’s safety and health, while making it a punishable offense. I’ve always worn helmets, even before the law. I had a helmet stolen, while on a trip across country. On my way to a cicle shop, I passed a cop who naturally pulled me over for not having a lid. I explained what happened and how I couldn’t imagine someone stealing such a thing. He told me about the latest drug called meth, which has people stealing whatever isn’t nailed down, and sort of blamed me for not taking it into the restaurant. He then escorted me to the store to make sure I was going to do what I said. Gee, I wonder what sort of people he deals with all the time, imagine not doing what you say. Weird. Number one expense relating to automobile crashes is….. head trauma. Yep, head trauma in a car is just as diaper and drool inducing as the trauma some helmetless idiot on a sled experiences. How many times do you or your ‘loved ones’ wear helmets in your cars? Feeling that tingle of duplicity rising up your spine? If helmets are always a good idea, then it’s always a good idea to wear one, but no one ever does (but they can PREACH). Not even the doctors who treat such horrendous injuries day in and day out wear one. In fact, the same profession (doctors) who decry the evil that is obesity and cholesterol, are among the highest percentage owners of McDonalds and Burger King franchises. Way to go guys! The BEST and most effective treatment for crashes is avoidance. Do you really believe, in your heart of hearts, that the videos of motorcycles, helicopters and cars were examples of responsible vehicle operation? Would the same philosophy be followed regarding bank robberies, where customers are required to wear body armor, as a solution to preventing gunshot injuries, OR would the bank robber be removed from the equation? Oops, bank robbers aren’t motorcycle helmets and neither of them are DB Cooper, so none of this makes sense. Perhaps we should get back to the twenty six fingered suspect and his botched (read: not found culpable) investigation.
  21. All those stupid bikers crashing on a curve left me wondering if there was anything more ridiculous, which could be done on a motorcycle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HM-k0yD-c58&feature=fvwrel Losing control on a two wheeled vehicle and crashing into a parked one is truly as stupid as one can get. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbdJxFjRe6E&NR=1&feature=endscreen Just like the old saying; Stupid people are like busses, just wait a little and another will come along and be bigger. Really, he lost control on four wheels and crashed into a group of motorcycles parked way off the road to be safe? I think the only safe place is in your home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLlB-BT4S3o&feature=fvwrel Wrong again. I even found another ‘Walter Mitty Easy Rider’ on a road from the east coast called the ‘Tail of the Dragon’. Much like Mulholland in California, it serves as an idiot magnet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6XT4B47vIU OK, so I was wrong about the level of stupid, one person could produce earlier. This guy is an embarrassment to asshat wearing assclowns, from Astoria. What is the theoretical maximum for moronic behavior? Would it have helped if there was a cop car, with lights flashing, around a group of other cars, with people shouting and ummm….. how about a rock slide blocking the entire road for that extra, biblical, even God hates you touch? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBmE92n5mEI As the dust settles and the clouds part, behold the product of air bags, onboard computers, padded dashboards, ABS, seatbelts, On-Star, crumple zones, collapsible steering columns, inertial fuel shut-offs, energy absorbing bumpers, radial tires, disc brakes, head restraints, shoulder belts, laminated glass, un-leaded fuel and intermittent windshield wipers, which have collectively preserved the likes of this guy. I hope these little videos will serve as a sort of visual salve to relieve the mental anguish resulting from reading about fingerprints which change, electric underwear that receives navigation signals, prison skydiving training, rivers that flow up-hill, FBI conspiracies, time travel, the inverse laws of Newton, vast global incompetence, hyperbole based bombast and the greater offenses due to appear in the next two pages of comments.
  22. This would be a good exercise for Cooperland as you don’t have to ‘guess’ about much with a few sources and references. This ‘WILL’ be different than the usual ‘because I said so’, ‘I’m always truthful’, or ‘I’ve got twenty years experience and the rest of my life to bore everyone to death’ reasons which remain astonishingly popular. So what constitutes aerobatics in the USA? From the book of ‘Big Brother’: “14 CFR 91.303 Aerobatic Flight No person may operate an aircraft in aerobatic flight— (a) Over any congested area of a city, town, or settlement; (b) Over an open air assembly of persons; (c) Within the lateral boundaries of the surface areas of Class B, Class C, Class D, or Class E airspace designated for an airport; (d) Within 4 nautical miles of the center line of any Federal airway; (e) Below an altitude of 1,500 feet above the surface; or (f) When flight visibility is less than 3 statute miles. For the purposes of this section, aerobatic flight means an intentional maneuver involving an abrupt change in an aircraft's attitude, an abnormal attitude, or abnormal acceleration, not necessary for normal flight.” What did Captain Skygod do that may (just may) have violated that reg? (b) He was over an open air assembly of persons, who else would take a video of you? (d) He was within 4 nautical miles of V-107 (virtually under it). (e) Below an altitude of 1,500 feet AGL is certainly one he busted. Along with the general definition of aerobatic flight being an abrupt change in attitude NOT necessary for normal flight. Oh dear, it looks like he was engaged in aerobatic flight with PAX. Could there be more? Holy Bat Violation! FSDO-man! Someone also forgot about 14 CFR 91.307, which outlines when parachutes are required for PAX, in Paragraph (C), line (2) “ A nose-up or nose-down attitude of 30 degrees relative to the horizon.” My dear, did that Robinson exceed 30 degrees in pitch attitude? I’m frightened and somewhat engorged. No one is a bigger supporter of the ‘Kill Yourself’ ethos, than I. It’s too bad that these monsters don’t understand this and try to kill other people, which results in higher costs, more regulations, more insurance and a hell of a lot less personal freedom. I’ve never seen a race where vehicles travelled in opposing directions, including demolition derbies. Yet this takes place on public roads every day because some dork, can’t just- kill himself, he has to take out or cripple some others along the way. I’ve never seen an un-trained, commercial pilot who could claim ignorance of the parameters for aerobatic flight and the requirements for PAX to wear chutes. But it sure appears to have happened in that video with a load of unsuspecting shoe clerks, testing the limits of that rotating mass. But it looks cool and fun, so do it, and film it. No consequences or downstream considerations, it’s all about YOU and that’s all that matters. That’s why it’s called the YOUniverse, just like your mommy told YOU. So there’s a little exercise on how to observe, measure and objectively arrive at some conclusion, which should be very similar to the result from another person validating the same data set. No need for lobbying or sending PMs, because the ‘truth’ will always have your back. Lies will always bite you there instead.
  23. This little video will no doubt divide the viewing audience into two separate, but unbalanced camps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eKsDwU7kdo&feature=relmfu Yes this is the same spot where the motorcycle crashes were being filmed. So I’m going out on a limb here and predict that birds of a feather, flock-up together. I know that most people view this as ‘awesome’ and ‘uber XD’ because if that feedback didn’t exist, there wouldn’t be these behaviors, let alone videos. Putting a rotary wing airframe, through those maneuvers, above a group of people that are totally unaware of the risks is ridiculous from my viewpoint. But hey, no one got hurt, so what’s the foul? If only I was allowed to ‘shoot at, and miss’ every person who has said, written or thought those words. I’ll bet 100% of them would get the point. It is knowing what could happen, and has happened, which is the advantage someone in the ‘biz’ has over all the shoe clerks and 600 hour CFIs. So I did a little search. N4177R is registered to a company named ‘Air and Land Ventures Inc.’ and would you believe they have a crash to their credit?! I know; I must be psychic or other worldly, where past histories and tendencies are used as a measure, in assessing risk and the likely outcomes of events in the future. Why can’t everything be treated as chance based or unique? There’s simply no reasonable, fact or logic based way to ever tell. Hey! That means that Cooper had just as much of a chance of going up as he did heading towards the ground, when he stepped off those stairs. How else can you explain that he hasn’t been discovered? You can’t, because he floated. This is confirmed by the lack of fingerprints, since you would not need to touch anything if you had the power of flotation. Where are the cigarette butts? Well they went with Cooper since floating people’s fingers leave behind oils that make things they touch float, so the cigarettes floated out the door. Now I realize I just said that people who float don’t need to touch things, but that’s old news and I would rather move forward here and keep on subject. Why did Cooper pick a dummy parachute and ‘jump’? Just another blatant piece of evidence which proves he floated. In fact, he tore the emergency placard off the wall and threw it out as an example of what won’t float. Open your brains and just think for once. Everyone is so close with the money, it has been scientifically proven to have -NOT floated. Exactly…. money and placards won’t float; Cooper, cigarettes and dummy parachutes by definition and evidence, must float. All in the name of science.
  24. I’ve been trying to forensically decipher just how some of the DBC theories and suspects are created. Using syntax alone leaves the most obvious explanation as to how they are crafted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42yPcjBDIPw I would have expected more skill in the use of the mouse in this situation, but most comments on the thread display a total lack of ‘cut and paste’ abilities. So I figured it had to be the product of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgELlF6_e8w Then I realized she was correct, in that there was “ahh heavy dwer, ah bertation tonight”. How could I have considered someone so articulate, as an exemplar of all things Cooper? I know, silly. But could there truly be that many people who think they can change the laws of physics? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTIOSryx9NU I know exactly what you’re thinking; Helmet Laws Suck! Why must we collectively continue to defy what Charles Darwin said is a necessary function of the fittest being allowed to survive? Here we have Mr. ”All That And A Bag Of Chips Whose Mommy Told Him He Was A Burning Hunk Of Love Who Should Never Consider Other Drivers Using Public Roads On A Blind Curve Because Bikers Already Have A Sterling Reputation” guy; who managed to get himself filmed, in HD no less, because intelligent photographers know precisely where stupid people migrate. What are the odds of capturing a motorcycle crashing at that moment? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up2UvuRLdTE&feature=relmfu Pretty damn high considering the guy has over 60 videos of similar events. So I remain baffled by the source and inspiration which result in some of the inexplicable diction hammered out with such wild gusto, and prominently repeated until it is questioned or validated. But if some goober doesn’t have the brains to NOT become a California guardrail test dummy, by thinking a little bit ahead, the chance of a thread comment, which has no pain or financial loss feedback, getting the same treatment is nil.
