I did my 16th and 17th jump today. I fall like a rock!!! I am learning how to dock and redock. I feel i did ok on my 16th jump. did a 180 track for 3 sec waved off and pulled. As for my 17th jump everything went well but, when I did my 180 and track for 3 sec I waved and pulled before I could slow my fall down. It knock the fire out of me. I was about 3500ft above the ground when they could hear me say SON OF B@@@@ that HURT!!! I had a good landing and I am ok. As they say the school of hard knocks. LOL Take care everyone and be safe V/R Ed

Today I complete my level 6 and 7 today. 14 jump Level 6 I corrected my body position when exiting out of the Cessna. Fix my back flips. I had to do 3 of them. I only had to do the back flips. I wave off and pull at right Alt. 15 jump Level 7 I had a good spot from the aircraft. I line the it up right. I got the teacher to verify that I was right. He OK it, I got into position to exit out. I had a clean exit and good body position. Check Alt still good. I did my first front flip rolled onto my back and recover. Check Alt still good. Second one did it again and recover from that also. Check Alt. Still good. I did the last front flip perfect. I oriented to the Caddo Lake and then I did a 180degree and track for 3 sec. I wave off and pull at right Alt Only 10 more to go now. chip away at it LOL Besafe everyone and have a Great Day V/R Edward

Well I have to repeat AFF level 6 again . My back flip was ugly. My barrel roll was great. So I have to do the Back flips over again. I also have to work on my exit. I go unstable a first and flip on to my back . Then I flip back over and then I am fine. Also I made through lucky number 13 lol in one piece. Everyone have a Great day. V/R Edward

I still have the swimmer legs issue. I had to repeat level 5 but I pass it on second try. As for Level 6 and 7. I will have to do it next weekend. I have to wait because, I had to help pay for my daughters book for college. My daughters education comes first. I will always have time to jump. Otherwise, I had a great weekend! I had a great jump last weekend. I am going to do level 5,6 and 7 this weekend. I am a little bit closer to my A license. I had a good exit from 10000. I was stable and did my 90 degree turns correct. Pulled at 5000 had a great landing. 15 more to go !!! On different note I am going to get to jump with the 1/509th IN Battalion (ABN)out of Ft Polk,La once my request gets approve. The landing will suck but, Once Airborne Always Airborne Keep those knees in the breezes V/R Edward L Hosack

I wanted to thank Donnie,Tommy,Will and Jeff for training me. I currently have completed 10 jumps now. I have 15 more to go to get my A License. They have a nice A/C packing area and lounge. There Cessna 182 is very clean and well maintain. I would recommend this DZ to anyone who wants to do a tandem skydive or learn to skydive.Great place.

I was on the static line progression program for my first 7 jump. I had to complete to 10 sec delays. My first 10 sec delay went ok, but I was in a slow spin to the right. I though I was going to lose control I pull at what i thought was 5000 when in fact I pull at 6000. I jump at 6500Ft. Second 10 sec delay went great. I stable body position and pull at 5000ft. I did very well. So I ask to start AFF program. They started me at AFF level 4. We jump at 10000 ft I did a mock pull and several 90degree turn. Then I wave off and pulled my chute. I even did well on the landing to. I have now completed 10 jump and 15 more to go! V/R Edward

Yesturday,I completed 2 more jumps. I did a Hop and Pop. Then I was clear to do my first 5 sec delay. Both of my landing were great. No radio help. On my second jump I was stable but still have to work on my legs some more. 7 down 18 more to go !!!! Take care everyone Keep those knees in the beeze Edward http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR0eB-zIf4c

Hello Everyone, I got 2 more jumps under my belt now. I finished my static line part now. I did my first Hop and pop last weekend. I have to do it again. I had a good exit and arch but once i pulled the throw chute my left leg started to kick lol. It was like i was trying to swim in the air. It was funny once, I was on the ground. I have to get use to that delay. My mind was saying one thing, My body was doing something different did not know what to do lol. I can say I have good canopy control. Both of my jumps I landed on my feet and no PLF for now lol. It is different from those round browns. I have more control!!! I thing, I do miss about Airborne Operation is when we do mass tack with over a 1000 paratroopers in the air. You hit the ground do a PLF and look up and see so many people in the air. Take care Everyone ( Keep those knees in the beeze ) V/R Edward
