  1. Hey thanks man, greatly appreciated. I went and ordered one straight away at my closest camera store. :) Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  2. I have an Old Hypeye (D PRO) and a new Sony HDR CX-410. If I use the Sony Multi Terminal Adapter (http://gethypoxic.com/collections/hypeye-indicators/products/sony-multi-terminal-to-av-r-adapter) can I use my old Hypeye then? Anybody knows if this is supported or could give it a try? Thanks guys :) Johannes Bergfors Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  3. That's pretty sweet then. Do you think the adapter you got is the same as the one made by gethypoxic? Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  4. Hi! Is the adapter to 2.5 functionable in all ways? Just plug it in the USB-port of the camera and then the biteswitch in the other end, and then go? Thanks, Johannes Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  5. Does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to mounting a gopro 2 onto a Z1 with the metal mount? Is it hard, drilling the mount onto the visor? Pictures? Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  6. Does anyone know anything about the Samsung NX200? http://www.dpreview.com/products/samsung/slrs/samsung_nx200 According to the website above it's suppose to have a remote shutter support, and the remote that they're selling too is wired with a 2.5 mm at the end (which is awesome). Does anyone know if it's as nice as it looks? /hef Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  7. Do you mod the NEX-C3 as well? Thanks, Johannes Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  8. Just wanted to let you all know what finally worked, after trying everything i read on google, every tip i got. What I did to remove my stepring from the lens (although I didn't care if i'd break the stepring): 1. I put the lens on a hard surface so it couldn't move up and down. I held it there with my feet to it wouldnt move to much side to side either. 2. I placed a very small screwdriver on the stepring. 3. Then I tapped it lightly a couple of times with a small hammer. 4. The ring came of like it just woke up from a coma, missing everything i did with plyers, wire and violence. Before i put the lens on the new camera, with the new stepring, i rubbed it with nose oil :) Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  9. I googled it, searched this forum but couldnt find a solution. A stepring is totally stuck on the lens. Ive tried heating it, chilling it, a lot of plyers, plastic gloves, rubber - nothing works. Apart from not putting it on so hard in the first place, what advise do you have to get the lil' bugger off? Thanks, Heffie. 10. Got my cx105 today. Haven't got a "real" wide angle yet so i tested it with my old Cokin 0.43 wideangle. Payed $30 for it. A lot less vignetting than on my old samsung mx20. Filmed in SD HQ. Maybe someone is interested to see how the camera works with this perticular lens. Thanks, Heffie, Sweden (edit: forgot the url) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt8nrfq_a2A Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  11. Thank you so much for doing such a visual comparison with different wide angles for the cx 100! Let me just get this clear: 00:26-00:28 is the cx100 with the liquid? All from below is the HC1 00.52-00.55 is the SD mode with the scratched .2? So whats your summary on the subject on a wide angle for the cx100? I'm buying a lens for it and apart from all Ive read here on DZ is that personally i'd prefer a small lens that doesnt stick out too much. No snag points for me thx. Ive watched the raynox 3032 on it and footage looked great but a single element lens would be sleeker. What single element wide angle would you recommend for the CX100? If you had to choose one :) Based on quality and as little vignetting as possible. Thanks, Heffie, Sweden
  12. I currently use it with a Cokin 0.45 lens, and it works just fine for funjumps as a SD-camera. Its light and easy to handle on the ground. The problem is in the plane. There's no way to connect it to a hypeye, and a mirror on the altimeter won't work because the light is on the back of the camera, not on the front as on a Sony. Also, the autofocus (and the zooming) resets after each time you turn off the camera. So for optimal use you have to turn it on in the, set it to manual focus in the plane, zoom in a little, wait until the door opens, start the camera and ask someone to check if its on. Myself, i dont care about the autofocus so have it in a small leathercase ontop of my Cookie. i just turn it on, zoom in a little (just a little click), and then press the recordbutton before i go. Without looking. But im looking to buy a cx105 instead :) Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  13. Yeah sure, that I can understand. But we tested a .45 kenko and a 3032 raynox and the kenko was wider! on the same camera! Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  14. Through the top of the helmet, into the helmet, and then comes out in front of your forehead right? I would probably like it on the side, do you know how it would work out with the Hypeye in that case? And what lens do you use on your pictures (would love to see more!)? At my DZ we compared a Raynox 3032 HD-lens with a 0.45 SD Kenko, and the Kenko was actually wider! Both were attached using a stepring. So I'm completely lost in the logic about what lens to choose for the CX100 if you'd like the width of a .45. Any ideas? Anyone tried a Liquid 3 or Liquid 2 on the cx 100? Cookie claims there is no loss of HD-quality using there lenses. Thanks! Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
  15. I couldnt find it on the 2k composites website, is it official yet? Did the built in hypeye have a visual LED as well? Look at my videos at vimeo.com/heffie Look at my photos a 500px.com/johannesbergfors
