So, Ive been pounding my head trying to get a full screen 16x9 dvd from cx100 hd footage. I used this DVD direct in Vegas 9.0e and it came out in 4x3. Help please. What do I need to do? My project settings are 1920x1080 60i. The Captain Makes It Happen....

Sony service said it would take to long to repair and is giving me a full refund. So, I then go to SonyStyle and get a good deal. I got a scandisk 8gb pro duo MagicGate works well. Had a big problem when I bought a 16gb pro duo MagicGate on ebay. I was getting an error everytime I would record or play, saying card my not record or play properly. However, it did record and play properly. I originally thought I had bought a fake card but found out otherwise. Contacted Sony a couple of times and read the CX100 adobe manual. They both said that the 16gb MagicGate type have an issue working in a CX100. Some kind of patten thing with MagicGate. Don't know, sound like BS and is BS. I don't know has anyone else used a 16gb pro duo MagicGate memory card? The Captain Makes It Happen....

I have a little problem that has arrised with my cx100. I bought a 16gb pro dou on ebay and it gives me an error message(Memory card my not be working properly, my not record or play back properly). I need to know if any of you have tried a 16gb memory card and does it work in your cx100. Do you know could it be a foreign memory card to U.S. compatibility issue? The Captain Makes It Happen....

I have my cookie black box pre-ordered. I still can't make up my mind, top or side mount to my MXV Cookie Composite. I would love to top mount it, however I'm 6'3" jumping from a C182. Would love to hear some thoughts. THX The Captain Makes It Happen....

So, here's what I think I'm going to do. I have my cx100. I have a MXV which I'm thinking of side mounting, do to the fact that I'm 6'3" jumping from a C182. Don't have the mount yet, what do you think? Should I fight the height issue and go with a top mount? I don't have the money for a Century so I guess I will be going with a Raynox 3032. However, I would like a small low profile .3X lens. Is there anything smaller than the Raynox with great HD quality that would work? I've read threw a ton of threads and this is what I came up with. Any advise on what might work better for me would be greatly appreciated. Also, one more thing. I read in an earlier post to turn the auto focus off and put the camera on infinity and set it to .2-.3. Please forgive me, but I couldn't find in the options where it says infinity. Help please. I have some footage shot in a low light recording studio that is broadcast quality. This camera is pretty impressive for what it is. As for fast movement I'm not so sure, but I'm still working on figuring out my issues with that. Could you let me know what setting you have it on? The Captain Makes It Happen....
