Looking into getting a new AAD, and do not feel like spending the fortune on the cypres, which as we all know does not end after purchase....so i checked out the vigil and it is cheaper, lasts longer and does not need maintenance.... what worries me is that i am trying to save money on a tool that could save my life in that unforseen circumstance of mid air collision ... i am not looking to start the AAD or no AAD conversation on this post but what i am looking for is : is the vigil an inferior, superior or similar product to the Cypres? and i have done no research in it but the argus too. any info??? the condemned convict climbs the highest peaks without fear

I have waited sometime to give my review as I wanted to feel the canopy out...I was happy from the beginning and that feeling has stayed the same. This canopy has a great glide and is very fast. The turns are quick and snappy and accompanied with one of Brians canopy courses, becomes even more fun!!! Brian has put alot of thought and energy into the creation and production of his canopies and it shows... all this talk about airlocks are this and that ... i love them ... when other peoples canopies are partially collapsing on approach i am flying through without a hitch....(but I still know when to jump and when not to jump.... If you are in the market for a canopy this is def a win win canopy and you will not be disappointed.... Also I anticipate the day (but can wait) when i have the opportunity to swoop his samuri blue skies!

i have been to both and like each one for there own DZ specific reasons....but i am def a rancher at heart and i love the atmosphere, people, planes, natural surroundings, etc honestly if you are down to go, however many times you would like to go would be good for me, it would take some planning tho as i do have to work around my gf's schedule as well (she works everyother saturday...for instance this weekend she doesnt so next wknd she does....) where are you located....cause if you are close enough we could even car pool to the other dz's as well blue skies!!! the condemned convict climbs the highest peaks without fear
