after 9-10 years i guess Bush thought diplomacy wasn't working. Between 1992 & 2002 everthing unscom tried was blocked or delayed by Sadam. Sadam did everything in his power to not follow what he was supposed to. talk can only go so far and most of us (congress and the people) were tired of talk and wanted action. Bush did what the popular vote & congressional vote wanted. there are mistakes from both sides and WE put ourselves in the position WE are in and now it is time to pay for those decissions. Is the price high? yes but very much worth it. I know that you personally didn't want the war but you were the minority and now have to help pay for that, but that is the price of living here in the US. There has been things that I have not liked or wanted but the good is greater than the bad. If Obama gets elected I will have to deal with his tax increases and mistakes just like I had to deal with Clintons.

I think you have failed to understand the nature of the Presidency and nature of leadership in general. Any monkey can lead if everything is going right. Not because it is traded on the world market? --------------------------------------------------------- i know that congress didn't make the prices but they haven't done anthing to help the situation. when Clinton wouldn't allow Anwar drilling, because it would take to long to see results and the dem's won't allow offshore drilling, these have helped condem us to higher prices and more dependancy on foriegn oil. this has caused alot of problems with deficits in the economy. drilling won't solve the problems but they will ease the problem until new technology can take over.

but this is a local, parental issue not the feds issue. Parents need to step up and take care of their kids or be held responsible for them, not the feds

you are right the women should decide not the government. this is why i lean more rep because the dems have too many programs they want to control that i don't want them to control. infastructure, laws and military, the rest leave to the states and people. health care, schools, welfare should be run by the states or by the people.

every policy on birth control is, and has been, a failure. the only thing that works, to a certain degree, is ALL parents expressing good values and safe practices to their kids.

a few years back Gore had said "maybe we need to inflate gas prices to $5 a gallon so we can get people to start converting to alternatives because of global warming" i say the snip on CNN or fox a couple weeks ago

i guess we need to watch all the interview of Obama with Oreily on mon, tues, wed night. the part he showed last night told me Obama still can't face the truth about his first open foriegn policy decission being wrong. like was said a couple days ago at the RNC, maybe Obama needs ask Mccain about foreign policy

i say she is 50-50 her son hasn't got anyone pregnant. the government wouldn't need to fund these programs if the parents took care of these issues with their kids and instilled morals in them(and 1 family doesn't work most families need to work at this to reduce pier pressure) . i don't think this is a government issue i think it is a parent issue so i would agree with not funding those programs.

i don't agree with palin's stance on the sex / abortion area but i do believe that this problem is theirs to deal with as they see fit and i do believe she has the right to raise her children by their values, and the media needs to let them alone to deal with it, not crucify them for having a problem.

every birth control method can fail. the best parent can fail. there is no 100% sure way to deal with these problems. just like drugs, gangs and other things. My younger daughter ended up in alot of trouble with the law 11 years ago but we worked on it and got things straight and i am very pleased and proud of the person she has become. everyone wants to condem Palin for a mistake of her daughter but maybe it is just a kid being a kid. i know i put my parents through hell and they stuck by me and i am glad they did.

if i was an Obama fan i would have to declare this is not fair and have it back the other way. haha does make a difference when you give the real numbers doen't it
