  2. 25Nov01-Sydney, Australia. The most amazing day that has forever changed my life. Went with a friend to watch a jump. Saw it and signed up immediately. Tandem was incredible, blue skies, white clouds...my friend coming up to me in freefall, high fiving! Me, all grins and mouthing." "This is f-ing awesome!" Could not believe how far the eye can see under canopy... Would I do it again? Celebrated our freedom yesterday with the start of my training (2 jumps). I wanted the peace this sport brings...it only gets better!
  3. Hello, I am fairly new to writing in here, going to be VERY new to training on wednesday. I have "lurked" in here reading all of your inputs for the last several months. I admire and respect that the information you put out is usually pretty objective and no one's opinion is really bashed. This made my stomache somewhat knot up that someone would be so insensitive to another's fears. I am hoping that it's not typical...From your replies it seems that it's not. All contact that I have made thus far has been wonderful! Please keep up your support. For those of us that do not talk/type that often, it's a nice way to gain information! I hope you hear back from that gal again and she succeeds~ Amy
  4. Heehee, no, I was just worrrying about what shoes to wear now...;-) Laughing, no worries at all...just a big burst of spontaneous combustion about to happen from the excitement! Amy
  5. Thanks Andy~ And here I am going for 2 tandems to start up training wednesday...shakin my head at you...such encouragement! Amy

  7. Where in the US, is there a school or coach that is proficient in wingsuit training other than Deland? A friend from England is interested in learning more about flying his suit. He is currently flying a "Skyflier" suit and his fall rate is approximately 50-55mph. He is looking for someone who might be more advanced. His goal is to learn to fly the suit between 40-45mph with longer tracking. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
