I love cookies, so I followed it for 3months, (then PDF laid out more cookies) than another 3 months, (they laid out more cookies) than another 3 months etc etc. You ordered a rig and it took how long to get to you?? 18 months You were supposed to get a free canopy but what happened there?? wrong colour and I’m too fat for it You attribute fault to whom?? How does publishing that website help you in getting to a new rig it has not, it will not, they may not want to sell me my rig now (which has been delivered and looks great, apart from the canopy colour which is plum, but that may have been rectified), it was a risk I was willing to take Why not just cancel the order after due time (6 months) and take your business elsewhere? Because I was told it would be just another 3 months, and the lead time for the next rig I wanted would have been 6 months, so I would have ended up waiting 18 months for a different one. How ironic

As promised, i've changed the website a little, to make it more ying yang. PDF need to follow through, (no bigway not shit themselves) complete there actions. it had 3500 hits in its first day. Shit that has not even been optimised yet.

Wow!! What an eventful couple of days. There was me going head to head with The Von, Then me going at it, with anyone else who wanted some. Then me putting up a Website www.parachutedefrance.com , with some fact and some fairy land fiction. What next you may ask? I just spoke to one of the guys from PDF, he'd been told about my new website today, and thought some of it was funny, some of it was fact, some of it was obscure. We had a good long discussion, I let him know who I was, he did not go mental, I told him why I was angry, He let me know that he read some of the web pages and saw the truth was there, I said he did not really live in a bubble, but I was fairly sure his delivery driver was the half man half horse person on my website. He's a nice chap. He apologised and let me know what went wrong, and in what order, and what prevented him from making personal apologies to all the people involved, buyers, dealers, in-betweeners. We talked about my rig, we both agreed that my rig was really well made, but the canopy colour was awful. He's going to put together a piece for some of the magazines, explaining what happened, what went wrong, and dare I say it an apology for the fiasco. I think that is cool. That’s positive reinforcement. I'm going to update the website, and change some of the bits, just so it’s a bit more balanced. As a warning though. I expect you to follow through with this, don't make a liar out of me, I’m counting on you B. Don't make me open a can of "whoop ass" However... The fucker did not even offer me a free t-shirt. And.... I will be invoicing PDF for my time!!

HEY bigway, Positive actions provoke positive reactions; it’s a ying yang thing, kind of like star wars without the light sabers. Bigway come off it, international boogies, do you really think that people will point me out as the guy with the terrible vendetta against pdf. Is someone going to come up to me and say what you did is really nasty, while finger jabbing me in the chest. Will that not be ironic considering I’ll have a pdf rig on my back? Will anyone really care? If what I have done is that bad, the best solution is for them to make a public apology; I don't think there are many in the community who thinks PDF are angels in this matter. This is a communication issue that PDF should be sorting out, and we can cut the bullshit about small community, PDF are a multi million pound company who are not involved in the community, they are involved in the manufacturing of rigs, very slowly, Community is something that starts at home, it’s about the little guys, the dealers, the dz's, the rigging shops, and if the big manufactures want to come and be involved they have the option too. And some of them make full use of that. But let’s not get teary eyed about a corporation who treats its customers badly. Do you know it’s owned by zodiac aerospace? Check them out... they’re pretty big How much do you think there turnover was for the first half of this year? €1109 million! Minus the £900 that I owe them, the fuckers even say they made more money due to the fluctuations on the euro!!

Bigway, how i miss our midnight walks :) I think if people i wanted to jump with decided not to jump with me because i do some really wacky shit online from time to time. I had made bad choices of people i wanted to jump with. Needless to say all they have to do is come on the site say sorry and the website will be taken down. Not a lot to ask!

I get your point of the warning that pdf took a while to manufacture rigs, but i think a bigger thread was needed, and i wanted more PDF threads in this link so when a search was done this came up. What i'm spending on the rig is the biggest investments in my life so far, so i have gotten a little more angrier then i normally would. Anyway...... Just to make things clear....I don't want a t shirt or a aad or anything, just a public apology. PDF should make an apology, not just to me but to all the people who have waited and waited. Its not hard, i'm not asking for blood. You do this you say "i'm really sorry we fucked up" and then you might say why. And then you might say "look here's your rig its all correct", (no it is not, thats not the canopy i ordered, that colour looks like a stock canopy that no fucker on the entire planet would buy, "its purple you fuck", i did not order that, after 300 jumps it'll be fucking pink, then i'll look like a big fat fucking fairy) So do i then ask for the right one and wait another 7 months, or do i just accept that i got a good deal. No a good deal is when you ask for something and you get what you wanted. this is just a bit piss poor. Wait look over here..... the dealer is getting screwed here, because you took so long the markets have crashed, the'll lose money. billvon, you seem to be misinformed, or are not really taking any interest in what is happening or has been happening in the market for the past 3 years. PDF put a deal out on their gear as a way of worming their way back into the community, people were frustrated by their lead times, which were not the same as the promised times they had been given when ordering rigs. If You had bothered to do any research you may have seen this, PDf moved there factory 2 years ago, to increase the speed of the manufacturing of the rigs (do your research) When ordering they gave a lead time of between 3 and 6 months (again do your research) They then increased the lead time on the manufacturing to 9 months (do your research) And then it went back to 18 months, longer then it had been at anytime b4. I'm not complaining, (your misinformed, again) I want people to know that they have misled me, I want them to apologize. I want them to know that its not right. Its a small community, and i think other workshops deserve the business a lot more than they ever will, i think people need the truth, not your tainted opinion. Unless I’m mistaken and you have bought and dealt with them, or have any personal experience in which to base your theory’s and statments on. ( in which case i would apolagise)

Over the years I’ve been berated for speaking my mind, and sometimes it has bothered me but today not so much.... As some of you may know i ordered a PDF rig 18months ago, and it has just arrived!! What do you think PDF are doing now, do you think i got an apology from them for bullshitting me for 2 years, do you think they have thrown in a AAD to keep me happy, do you think they have said sorry for taking 15 months more than they quoted, or do you think there "chasing" for payment. Yes you've got it........ Chasing payment, you bunch of assholes, (exchange rate good for YOU now is it???)) why don't you go online and say sorry for messing every sport skydiver around for the past 18 months , rather then keep your heads down. That’s all i'm asking for, your rigs are great, but you have lied your way down the line for too long, if this really is the website that every skydiver comes to ask for a sticky and just admit you have messed up, we won't blame you, but maybe we'll not come on line and rip you a new asshole. I'll pick up my slick old rig tomorrow and i'm sure it'll look great and be perfect… The retailer i bought it from has been amazing beyond belief, and has done more then PDF deserve to try and keep me happy.
