Karl is here in Z-hills, not up in North Carolina with Scott. Karl lives about 100 yards from me. We are not sucking in Z-hills.

And I'm been taken good care of B| And I get to visit Chuck in his Palace .... I'm like the poor kid down the street :P

A tall and lanky guy, Ian really kicked it out and went just over 2 minutes at a 58mph average on his first flight. Not too bad, eh?!

    Great job, bro!

    Chuck

Would he not just bust it out if we took him past SuperCuts and got that "Brilo" trimmed a bit ..... get all streamline and stuff ..... PURPLE helmet here I come:P

Here is proof that we are NOT sucking in Z-hills! Karl is totally sober in this photo, as are the rest of us, especially Johnny Gates! Hooty HOOOOO!

  • I have been flying my Vision 124 for the past three years, and still enjoy the canopy, the openings are great (I'm partial to a left turn on opening, but it's me makes no difference what canopy). The general flight characteristics are excellent.

Front riser pressure is medium, and it has a good recovery arc, and flies nice on rear risers. The bottom end flair could be a tad better, but maybe I'm getting to old for lazy to take a few steps.

In all I think the Vision is a very under rated canopy on the market.

PS: I was jumping one before I worked for Aerodyne, so this is a non biased opinion.

  • I'M A WINNER I'M A WINNER

So after fending off a Chuck Norris style attack by a fellow flocker on exit from the CASA. I am lead to believe I hold the Official World Record for the most back loops in a wing suit ;)

Yip, the sport is male bias to some degree and for the most part the available percentage of girls in the sport keeps female camera flyers limited. I know for a fact that while working in NorCal last year that Kim (the only female camera flyer) was as professional and skilled as any guy, and the pax loved her.

We do need to look into ways to cultivate and expose new girls to camera flying, but the cost of setting up, the cut throat nature of work dives. Puts alot of people off doing camera.

There are also a few jumpers who think camera flying is a way to get jumps for FREE and maybe even a few $ in the pocket, but until you have done a full training camp with a solid 4-Way Team or pounded out 10 Tandems you will live in the fantasy world.

My one team used our camera flyer as a go between for manifest, packing, calls, etc. we had more time to focus on the dive plans, creeping and de briefing. He did the admin side for us, and also shot Majik video of us.

Peej ..... Go take it and make a few new hot video girls, as we have some of the finest looking girls in skydiving back home.

  • James,

Our products have not been effected by the change of ownership at Aerodyne, the Icon is now produced in DeLand FL and our Mains and Reserves are available as always from our new facility in Durban.

We have stock mains and reserves ready to ship, and Stock Icons ready to size and ship out.

Go check out our new website and get in touch if you have any questions.

  • I would have presumed that the term SPOT meant that we would atleast be in the same county or a short walk from the DZ.

3.5 miles and landing in a back yard was a tad off the SPOT mark.
