Bluh, It's Out of the Blue. East Colorado Springs Airport (and they pretty much own it...no traffic). They typically have a KA, but currently a Caravan while the engine gets replaced. Turbine DZ with smaller DZ feel. It's nice, very friendly atmosphere. Limited wingsuiting, I typically have to coordinate with other wingsuiters before venturing over there unless I'm planning on solos. Mile Hi has a huge wingsuit contingent, they typically fly a very nice Twin Otter but have 3 KA's on hand to keep the tandems separated from the fun jumpers when it's busy which can be really nice. First class facilities but the landing area is not next to the hanger. I'd limit your search to those two until you get a feel for the area. So just curious. I took a little break in 2005 and returned a couple years later. Birdman was leading the pack with wingsuiting and it was increasing in popularity. When i show back up Phoenix Fly, Squirrel, and Tony are killin it with all new designs. What happened to Birdman? Website is still alive, but I don't hear or see them anywhere. The keymission 360 looks amazing...can't wait to see videos from that when it releases. Better keep those formations tight though! When you are at a party stop asking people "What do you do?" ask them..."What do you do for fun?"

How are you mounting your GoPro?
SkydiverTilt replied to SkydiverTilt's topic in Photography and Video
Totally understand argued and answered...but NOT the basis for this thread. I'm wondering how the adhesive holds in freefall through multiple seasons. When you are at a party stop asking people "What do you do?" ask them..."What do you do for fun?" -

I'm just curious if it holds. People would use the adhesive only so it breaks away in the event of a line snag. Good for helmets that don't have a cutaway system. When you are at a party stop asking people "What do you do?" ask them..."What do you do for fun?" -

Understand the pros and cons here. But I'm curious how many people are using the straight adhesive tape that comes with the GoPro and how it's holding up jump to jump, cold season to warm season. When you are at a party stop asking people "What do you do?" ask them..."What do you do for fun?" -

Turn an old rig into a working backpack
SkydiverTilt replied to SkydiverTilt's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Hey Group...I can't believe it but I saw my old skydiving rig (Jav J1) pop up for sale on a site. It's now beat to ever livin shit and being sold pretty cheap. I was thinking about buying it and turning it into a very cool looking backpack. Does anyone have any experience doing this? (and I'm not talking about experience with those cheap backpacks made to look like rig backs). I think it would be cool to pin the legs up somehow to reinforce the bottom, put a camelback compartment in...etc... anyway, any ideas would be appreciated. thanks!
