  1. how big the cliff, how many everyone and how long of a delay is "right after"? Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  2. The B2 (Stealth) Bomber is black. Does that suggest anything to you? Still, one has to distinguish between the types of conditions and ranges where one wants to see things. After all, the Brits very carefully chose a high gloss BLACK for their BAE Hawk jets in training use, for HIGH VISIBILITY. I'm only commenting on what might be an overgeneralized comparison, not the specifics of a particular colour in a skydiving environment. Actually I'm more on the kallend side due to an experience of mine. I have to be way more careful now that swoopers might not see me. Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  3. > What, in your view, indicates that a jumper is ready for an elliptical? Logical answer: when PD recommends it
  4. Never knew why the B2 black Bomber was called Stealth. Shit! I've made a bad choice, fuck! Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  5. What about black color on top skin. Mine is like that and I've thought it's easy to spot and such! Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  6. I'm doing various formations (RW or FF) with size somewhere between 3-6. In every jump the separation looked homogenous (meaning to me it seems we all have the same distance between eachother on opening). The incident forum made me think that maybe I'm just lucky with the separation we have. Do you know/have any ways of validating that your (or your colegs) tracking skills are more than enough for the formation you're about to build? Edit to add: Shit, I'm an idiot and I didn't see the other tracking thread that exists right here. My appologies for the spam. Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  7. PD said it's OK! This has to mean som'thing! Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!

  11. That could be true man. Do you think that eventually, he's going to make up a story how this alter ego died? Fucking awesome idea!!!! Great job Ron! I like him more! Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  12. Wasn't disconcerting to me when I first jumped one. Same behavior as most airplanes and all gliders; it was pretty much what I expected. clicky clicky clicky Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  13. What the fuck I know but hear this: I fly a Sabre2 190 WL 1.1 which opens really weird; sometimes it gives me 360+ in a line twist. I have close to 200 jumps. Me and a couple of my friends that get the same type of openings are glad that we didn't jump stiletto as students. Maybe on this side of the world people are stupider but I feel good that I didn't and currently don’t see ant instructor here saying "yeah bro, jumping a stiletto as student is cool”. Heck, people are soooo stupid, on this side of the world, that we still have students that lose stability at 11 jumps and open at 3500 and not 5000, we have students who land in the trees, one students that broke a finger on exit from cessna (the finger stayed inside) and one student who broke her back from turning left, instead of right as the radio guy said and then correcting with a low right 180 turn into the hospital. By pure statistic: Hell NO! If we want to bring more people in our sport (even the students that I've seen quit because of a landing accident) then students should put on canopies that have very similar characteristics (open/flying/landing) as the reserves because there’s an historical statistic reason why reserves fly like they do. 14. Is the DZO the kind of person who wants to be in control? If yes maybe he's offended that he's the last one to know and pointed a sharp tooth at you. He only talk/bark but didn't take no actions. You've should presented this information directly to him and not allow that other people or eavesdropping takes it to him. If no ... I can't relate Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
  15. So, semantics wise you'll probably win. It was a mistake from my side to tell that the decision altitude is 1000ft. I should have made reference to pressure instead. However, I think that you agree with me when I say that if I've just been stood up by the main opening on 1000ft the cypress will fire no matter what is wrote in that pdf document and this is the real good lesson for everybody can take out of my affirmations. All that been said, have a good one and take care! Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!

  17. Isn't the activation altitude 1000 ft (but when on belly due to the back burble this 1000 ft roughly translate to 750 ft)? Something like if you’re doing sit or head down or you’ve just been stood up by the snivel of the opening and still have vertical speed in the range of firing it will fire at 1000 ft and not 750 because the burble is no longer there. 21. Hi Guys, Been doing tracking jumps and I want to use flour smoke bomb. I am aware of one setup, the one where you put the flour in women pentihose that you attach to your ankle. Do you know any other setups, that possible could work better than this one? Regards, Jean-Arthur Deda. Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!

  23. mdrejhon, I see you put a lot of energy into new commers. Good! It's good to see that! ... So, do you coach for free as well? It would be cool if you pay for the student jumps when you coach me Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!

  25. Hey Guys, I'm really considering using Gábor method. If anyone with experience can make a critique for Gábor method, so that I would have a glimpse of what I'm getting myself into it, it would be really appreciated. I'm worried that while the method works fine for Gábor (who has a lot of experience) it might not be suitable for a noob like myself. I mean, would it be more easily to fuck up and get a line over with this method? Regards, Jean-Arthur Deda. Lock, Dock and Two Smoking Barrelrolls!
