  1. Greetings- I am happy to hear that your ash dive was a memorable and successfull celebration for this fallen brother. I currently lost my brother last week and am asking for some help concerning what I could put his ashes in to release him. Is there a certain kind of bag or something I could make here at home, that would work. I did talk to my DZ owner, and was told I could use theirs, but would like to make my own about the size of a baseball. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-and God Bless.
  2. Greetings-- Wow, I just jumped onto the gear forums, and got the update on the vse risers, Those look very scary and am glad you gave us a heads up. To top it off I just received my new infinity last week, just waitin on my canopies to get here to hook it up. What I,m really trying to say is that I,ve encountered that problem before with my other infinity, but nothin to that extreme, I'll definitely keep my eye on this. Certainly don't want to have to worry about this while I'm turning onto final. Sometimes there's PEACE.Quote
  3. Greetings- Mr. Sangiro, Thanks for the heads up on the Classified buyer scams. Appreciate your looking out for us. Best regards- Cherokee----

I really like my D-4, although I'm wondering if Mike has thought about modifying the reserve flap so it could tuck into the bottom reserve flap like the majority of the other rigs, so the corners don't show. Although I like the container so much for it's dependability and reliability I'm going to purchase another one with more colors soon. Cheers to the pioneers like Mike who kept our sport rockin, with containers like this.
  5. I just want to post this message while it's fresh in mind. Thanks to the Kapowsin crew out at sanderson field today who worked to keep operations going, they were busy with Tandems- and still were able to get me in the air to make my currency jump after 3 years,so I can now get my log-book once again up to par. Thanks Luke, Andy, Kerri, Corrine, Jeff Bell, Jeff Farrington, and Jesse for signing me off on my currency leap, and not to forget Monica with her kindness with the packing. I now have the regional directors signature in my log-book. Cheers to the pioneers who kept our sport-rockin.
  6. Oh yea the weather was quite uncooperative- I did manage to get there aroung noonish and everyone was inside the DZ bus staying dry- Jesse showed up about 20 minutes later from Olympia after doing a Demo for capital Auto mall - Andy and the other guy looked like they were alittle weathered from the leap, but in good spirits. Hopefully tommorow will be a little better but I'm banking on next saturday to get this party started. Cheers to the pioneers who kept our sport rockin. I did get a fresh repack though
  7. Makes sense-- Owe ya couple Lone Stars -Don't forget Bob Wills is still the king though. Thanks Bros.
  8. The instructions I got off the website for the speed 2000 reserve, which pretty much explains the procedure , although the reefing sequence just shows the canopy laying there with the 3 cells on each side spread out. How do you spread those? No I'm not a rigger but I'm working towards that eventually. my rig had to be dis-assembled for shipping and I had to pop the reserve, just thought I'd try the run through before I took it to my rigger, for alittle hands on. Check out the web-site for speed 2000 it's pretty informative. Don't Mess with Texas, my son was born in Marshall.
  9. Hey Cowboy Chuck- Got a riggin question about packin a raven 218 for my rig, after the canopy is flaked and laid out, what is the reefing procedure is that some kind of pulling out of the cells or just a fluffing thing, and do I just roll it into thirds to fit into the free-bag? Cowboy UP dude
  10. Here's a couple of pictures of bridal protection
  11. Oh The reserve soft link is the thicker one. DUH.*** Having -mailed Chuting star I got some info on this matter, Just use a resereve slink at the Bag!, and a main slink at the canopy att. point. Done - overwith- finished
  12. Stay tuned for the pictures, still working on it
