    We were planning on having postcards of #2 or #3 printed up for sale in the Gravity Gear booth.. but then bonnie got a flat tire on the way to Rantoul and didn't want to invest another $60 into postcards that she could only sell at Rantoul... chopchop gotta go...     So.. for the last 2 years, Bonnie from Gravity Gear has been selling specialty undies at Rantoul.. and we have produced a poster of Lany wearing them for her booth.. We had a hard time deciding which poster to use this year. We actually chose 2. Which do you think would sell the most undies? Hmmmmmmm??? The Posters..     I've got about 260 jumps on my Pilots so far this year.. I like them. Soft openings, nice swoops, I can hang in brakes, get back from a long spot on my rears.. It's a very forgiving canopy even at a 1.9 plus:1 wingloading.. If solid and predictable is mundane, that is the Pilot.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures

    dude.. if anyone has paid her skydiving dues, it's Lany.. all those hours looking at the sky waiting for us to come down.. all that time at the dz capturing the emotions of the people that could jump while she couldn't.. all the time during the week, editing and uploading pictures for the rest of us to enjoy while waiting for the next weekend.. and most of all, dealing with me and my addiction.. never going anywhere but the dz.. this is one chickie that definitely deserves to skydive..

    Well.. she had a little help with that. Bet you all thought it would never happen but here she is.. deploying her own parachute.. She stood up her landing right in the middle of our landing area.. but I wasn't there to catch that.. I was back on the plane ready to video another first time jumper.. Anyway.. it's been a long emotional road for her and I am very proud of Lany and can't wait to see her in the sky again.. hopefully this Saturday.. BTW.. average fallrate for her little butt was 116 mph.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures

    Thanks guys.. I had a great birthday weekend.. I got some sweet presents too.. Gravity Girl made up for saying I was 50 by giving me a nice T-shirt.. It's light blue with navy sleeves and navy lettering cross the chest that say Lany's Play Thing.. I love it! SBS hooked me up with a block of tickets.. but I gotta spend them all jumping with him.. But the best birthday thing of all.. I got to skydive with my Sweetie! Not as her instructor, I gave her first jump course last week at home.. but SBS and Kevin were her instructors.. and I flew video.. SHE ROCKED!
