If this was really the case, this thread would only have ONE post from you, or two at the most... but it seems that you have been struggling for acceptance since post #1 Dude... dont expect answers to be intelligent when you havent said anything intelligent yourself. You have only explained the fact that too much involvement for something you dont know (sport, GF, job... etc) at the beggining is not always a good thing to do. The thing is that what you did was like giving a 15 y.o. kid a full lecture on life, sex, morality and spirituality, when the only thing the kid wanted was to check out the girls bathroom through the window. That reminds me of a very funny story that happened to me in school... Me and my best friend were caught looking inside the girls bathroom through a window after PE class, so we were sent to the highschool principal (this was like in 7th grade). They called our parents saying that we would be suspended for two days becuase of our behaviour and that they should come to school to pick us up. (At this point I thought ... man!! we are in soooo much trouble!!) Lindercles and karenmeal said it perfectly. Dont know about you Douva and I can respect Skydiving is just a sport for you... dude.. I can even respect anyone that can drop skydiving at some point in their lifes (they are probably smarter than most of us), but that does not mean that a vast mayority in here feel that skydiving is more about a way of life rather than just a sport, and you should not only remember that there is a lot of us that feel that way but you should practice some respect too. The boy is happy about this new sport he is going into. Give him a break. If you think about it... its not even wise to jump from a plane in the first place! Dude.. for what I know, after skydiving since 17 yo... marrying at 25, having two kids, and divorcing... I can tell you now, 15 years later, that skydiving is about the only constant in my life that has brought peace to my mind and heart, and great happiness and sharing to me and my kids at some point. Even if Skydiving is just a sport... sports are amazingly important and usually overlooked. They can make ALL of the difference in your life...
