ya I bought one on ebay (a jav with reserve that I could put a BASE canopy into) and just made sure to have a local rigger (that i verified with the nearest dz about) check it out 1st

If you can, have a rigger in the sellers area check it out for you before you buy.

Exactly. It's doable low and with the right canopy and packjob, really low. If the plane's goin down you don't have a choice. If you can choose, then it's all about your comfort level. But unless you're flying something really rad, you don't need to go reserve at 2k

I've exited at 2000' while half the load turned it down. I also took a solid 5 second delay on my back watching others bail out and deploy. Why? Because I knew my canopy opens in 400 - 500ft from terminal, you fall almost 400ft from 5 seconds, and I don't own a cypress.

I'm pro choice. If you want to smoke it low, go for it.

That said, follow the rules in your country, ones set by your dzo, and don't put a pilot at risk if you haven't discussed it with them 1st!

To get a fast torrent download you want hundreds of people to be sharing the file. To get a fast *.rar download (that is NOT shared as a torrent), you only need 1 or 2 fast servers. This is the reason a release starts out as a .rar, and ends up on torrent sites. (If you download a torrent file in the .rar form, it's just because someone was too lazy to "winRAR" it and share it as 1 big file)

The reason an album/movie is in 100 .rar files is because groups of supernerds "release" a new album or movie onto the internet. This is the reason they have fucked up names like (Movie.DVDRip.XViD-ALLiANCE). This release is downloaded off hacked servers across the globe. The entire file is broken into parts so that if the download fucks up, you only lose a small part, not the whole download. You piece these together with winRAR once you've downloaded them.

These releases appear on torrent sites after they have been widely distributed already online. Most sites post them as once complete piece (or the 12 songs on the album), but not always.

But like everyone else on here, I of course pay for all my music, movies, and software

I fail them all horribly and convince them it counts, then have a "make up test" (note the original failed doesn't really count, i lie) and they can redeem themselves. They usually know the basics for the second one
