  11. yeap. he filled one of the spots for us in 2 meets! it was great jumping with him! http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
  12. here's 1 of the latest pictures... you can see that I don't even arch too hard.... it will come naturally. (I'm the one with white and blue arms) http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
  13. my suit was ok when I got but I lost weight since then... I even thought about sending it back... but makes no difference to me. work on your arch. if I arch... I sink....I know it sounds weird, since I'm a small woman... but... it's true. one of the guys that I jump with is about 100 pounds heavier than me... and when we're just fun jumping, I don't wear weights and keep up with him and everybody else. arch arch arch...get used to it. I will check if I have a pic of us so you can see the difference. http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
  14. Cool! I just did a quick calculation and if I start falling RIGHT NOW, I'll have as much freefall time as Carol by the middle of the afternoon on Saturday the 8th! LOL Carol is fantastic. she organizes some great big ways and is always making sure everybody has as much fun as she does. she is always GOOD VIBES
  15. the weights do not change anything on my landings... at all. and I usually only wear 6 pounds... I can arch and sometimes I even go lower the guys, so it's just a matter or keeping me on the "same" fall rate as the whole team together. you can add just a few pounds to try it.... ...for me it helps a lot and it's even better under canopy. I jump a 170 PD main canopy and I'm 120 lbs and 5.6"...but I still don't feel like downsizing my main.... for me would be great to try a 150, but maybe with few more jumps I will do it. talk to some experienced people at your DZ about it, some instructors should be able to help you
  16. I had my 1st meet (small competition) around 70ish and 1st scrambles around 80ish... but since I got my A I started to jump 4way. I always try to jump with experienced people so I can listen, see what they do and learn from it. it helps me a lot. I am small and really light compared to my teammates... and I wear a weight belt during competitions.. .try few pounds to start... that my help you a little bit. good luck!
  17. they will probably take you to a pool... and have you jump in your harness, throw the canopy on top of you and make you get rid of it and show that you can be safe in any water landing. you will also take an exam... check the SIM. good luck http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
  18. NICE! btw... the website is pretty cool! hope to see you soon Kirk! Keka http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)

If you are signed up for our newsletter you will know the very second they are available via our online booking system. hi Matt, I am not sure if I'm signed up for the newsletter or not, but I would love to be. [email protected] thanks. Keka http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
  20. exactly. like someone said already...we're talking about Millions here... and not few bucks to build this tunnel. Kirk, next time I'm around I would like to get more ifnormation about the discounts; I would love to get some more training there with you. I'm glad that my team got 1 hr training! that helps too! YAY
  21. WOW! that's pretty much like in Brazil it's so expensive there! they pay about R$90.00 or R$100.00/ jump which is almost U$50.00 I feel so lucky
  22. I had a friend that started the AFF pretty much at the saem time as I did, but she was having the same problems... dificulty to get stable, to relax... but she was going though some really not so good times....divorce and stuff... so she got some wind tunnel time... that helpd her a little... but it all went down hill when her ex start to skydive at the same DZ.. oh damn! when she finally convinced him that, that was HER time to be happy and hang out with people that SHE knew and liked....and he didn't go back there... then she started to focus on her jumps and graduated. when I say "time off" is not that you will spend the whole month at home... take a brake.. relax 1 weekend...read about it....watch videos... talk to people. it will all come to you.
  23. I agree.. .but if I were an AFF instructor and I see that one of my students was having problems and getting to do the same jump over and over again... i would def. suggest some wind tunnel time...or some time off - sometimes people are going through some ruff times.... and...everybody is different anyways. I did not repeat any of my aff jumps and I learn quickly...but that does not make me better than anyone
  24. I would only say it if I really loved the person; and it's not that I loved all of my ex-BF's... no no I liked them a lot...it's different. of course is nice to hear that.... but what will be the next step up,, when this becomes...hum... too common!? of course saying 'I love you" before going to work... on the phone calls... it's nice... but everything when is in excess..gets boring. if the love is really there ( for both parts).. it's ok.. if it's just a casual relationship.... no and btw... don't ever do something expecting to get the same back... just do it b/c you want to.
