  1. i stand corrected again. under no circumstances will i post his pm. bad idea on my part to even think it. i will just wait to see if he posts the same as his email....if it's the same i will be impressed and if not then i will delete him from my memory banks.
  2. i asked him if he wanted me to go ahead and do the things he wants done before he is willing to leave and no response, but not for permission of the pm itself. i see he is sending pm's on here today and he isn't respoding to me. if i posted it people wouldn't believe what he said unless it came straight from him. it's unreal. i am just going to wait the two weeks until he's back and THEN if he denies it i will call his bluff and post it.
  3. you know christel, you are right. i am not going to post anything he sent me and you are dead on. discussion is discussion and private is private. i stand corrected. if he has the guts to post what he wrote me then we will find out if his convictions are as strong as his words or if it's just a bunch of idle talk. if i posted what he wrote me i don't think anyone would believe it anyway....you'd have to see it to believe it.
  4. already done, no response. how is calling someone's bluff low class? please describe what you mean. i thought the forum was for discussion? the reason i want to post is so his reply will be visible to all. and yes, i do have a problem with what he represents.
  5. damn kid if i weren't so sick i would come. i have to get this fixed and get better. i think sushi is off the menu for some time.
  6. '94 Biz i went back for the georgia game last year and that town has changed so much....denaro's is gone! the supper club is the only place worth a damn to go out any longer. the rest are teeny bopper dance clubs. the live music scene is a joke now
  7. well, that is about all i need to hear to cancel my trip to the doctor and head to atlanta. just remember lesley, the rabbit is merely a SUBSTITUTE for the good 'ol giggle stick. i heard if you use those too much you will start to glow in the dark.
  8. YES!!!! WAR EAGLE BABY!!! when did you graduate?
  9. well, i have to pose a question to the moderator here and anyone else. i sent my proposal to EBSB252 and he sent me a very interesting response...no profanity so it's clean. i would love to put his PM to me on here, b/c you won't believe it. is this allowed?
  10. Dude, the SPURS are a BASKETBALL Team not BASEBALL... Jeez.. and I shout GO TEXAS! Because I'm a fucking Longhorn. Douchenozzles, it's what's for breakfast. now THAT was funny
  11. cool. that is what i was trying to express, but didn't have the raw data like that site. with that said, the video is impressive, but seeing nature operate like that in person is absolutely humbling. i have seen it probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 times and it's always a jaw dropping site. i have some pics from back when i was a litte kid that my mom has in a photo album...i will see if she can dig them up and i will scan them. they are of a resident hammerhead called 'hitler' somwhere in the 15-18 foot range. we are definitely NOT at the top of the food chain! mind you, the adult tarpon are 6-7 feet long and 150-200+ lbs......and they are getting shreaded. whoa.
  12. i am a resident of florida and have spend most of my life playing in the gulf. i think most people, down here anyway, accept that they might have an encounter at some point, but live with it. i realize WE are playing in their pond, figuratively and literally. for those of you who are not in the water as much....land lubbers, how does this make you feel about coming down for a swim on vacation? i only ask b/c i was chatting with a gal this morning who was saying 'all sharks should be killed' and that kind of jibberish. i have trouble believing most people are that short-sighted and naive. on the news they were showing a video of two bull sharks feeding on a tarpon in boca grande, fl...my second home. i hate to see that b/c that scenario is much different. this video can be seen in real life every day there and i have had two tarpon eaten in the exact same manner this year alone in that exact same location. boca grande pass is a cafeteria for all kinds of fish and is known the world over as the premiere tarpon fishery. all i'm saying is that i don't want everyone to be afraid of the water b/c of what the media is showing this week....come on down the weather is beautiful.
  13. ok, that could be it. this could be great b/c it will give me time to work out the details on the t.v. coverage. i will PM him so he can read. i am like a kid at christmas now that i can provide him with t.v. coverage. he can sing like a bird!
  14. well, i found a way to get on the internet while out of pocket and i wanted to see if EBSB252 had taken me up on the offer to begin his new utopian society. i'm guessing he realized this country isn't as bad as he makes it out to be and it's not worth leaving. my neighbors girlfriend works for the local nbc affiliate and after i told her about this offer i have....she said no doubt she would pass it on to the station in his hometown and there would be t.v. cameras there if he takes me up on it. the offer still stands EBSB252....i will post it again just in case you missed it. if i had to make a prediciton here, we will not hear from ebs about this and he will sit behind his computer screen wondering how some ass hole capitalist pig like me called his bluff. boy it sure is tough to swallow your pride isn't it ebsb252? hell, i'm all about you seeing the light and coming around. i have seen the most hard core, lefty liberals come around and believe you can too. THIS IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
  15. i am leaving the country for 8 days and will eagerly look forward to seeing all posts when i return. especially the one about ebsb252 and his choice to renounce his citizenship. the check will be waiting....as well as the network tv stations in washington d.c.
  16. oh, i realize what will come and did it intentionally. the best thing about people that base their premises on emotion is that they can't back it up with facts. if anyone want to let this deteriorate into something other than what kallend posted then that is their choice.
  17. again, what do you propose we do to fix this problem? unless you think you can stop a war then another solution is needed. i am all ears?
  18. i agree the federal budget deficit is a scary prospect at the moment. i do want to ask you a question or two regarding the tax breaks and the economy. 1. who stimulates the economy? specifically, who spends money that directly boosts local economies? low income, middle income or high income households? 2. no matter what side of the political spectrum you fall on this should be an easy one. what happens when you increase the taxes on the people who have disposable income to stimulate the economy? they keep more and spend less. the result is the economy is stifled and jobs are lost. taxing the rich and redistributing more to the poor will never, under any economic model, increase economic activity. yes the war is expensive and ugly, but if you think taxing upper income and small business america is the answer to offsetting the federal budget deficit please feel free to explain. i will tell you what i will do if a guy like kerry gets in and raises my taxes so he can give it to the people unwilling to work. i will promply close a few offices and cut some jobs. why, b/c i will earn more in the end by being in a lower tax bracket and giving less away. the liberals in washington will never be smarter than the forces that drive our economy.
  19. and back to another topic. i posted a few days ago that is your disdain for this country is so great and your criticism so consistent.....why don't you leave? by reading your posts there is evidently nothing good happening in america....only a glutton would stay in an environment that is apparently as abusive as this country seems to be in your view. again. i will buy you a first class ticket anywhere in the world AND give you $10,000 cash. the caveat is you can never return. i will accompany you to washington d.c. where i will watch you sign your citizenship away. this will give you what you want. a freebie----$10,000 bucks. you will also be rid of evil, capitalist pigs like me and free to pursue your utopian society where creativity, motivation and self-reliance are discouraged and frowned upon. i will be the first to break this to you....you aren't going to find a better deal than this. free maket economies work and if you can't handle that then maybe you should take me up on the offer. remember though, when you cross the border that's it. i'm sure i will have a lot of people on this forum standing right there with me waving goodbye with a big smile. maybe we could get you an ever bigger money pot and start a going away fund for you.
  20. just in case anyone else was in my situation and didn't know what system of a down was please click the link. http://www.systemofadown.com/ i searched and found these guys. they are a band. i'm not sure what to think....please tell me this is not who you draw your political ideaology from. i thought you were a free thinker? not telling you what to do ebsb52, but if you want people to take you seriously then posting on a world wide forum that you put anything beyond entertainment value on a bunch of guys like this band is not a stellar idea....in my humble opinion.
  21. This pots is about welfare / entitlements / gov benefits for the needy and not about anyone. Funny how some scream like crazy when the welfare mother with a kid in each arm and 1 in the oven gets food stamps, yet whne corps get unfair breaks the answers are: 1. Corps need to make a profit 2. It's unfair to impede commerce 3. W/o corps we would all be in trouble 4. If we don't give cops breaks, they will pull upo and do business overseas (truth is the gov can place tarriffs and restrictions so they can't do that) Uh, welfare mom, can you slide us a baby or three to go die for Haliburton's 100's of millions and this lame concept of patriotism? System of a Down, BYOB talks of, "Why do they send the Poor" which is a direct statement of this. In the US we are taught to hate anyone poorer than we are; this is a byproduct of Capitalism. In schools we teach kids that grading on a curve is beneficial, so if you are around inferior people you will do better. I had a professor from Italy and he said they would degrade you as k-12 student there if you failed to work with several kids around you. The idea in Socialist-based countries is that if you're selfish you willbe downgraded - in the US it's advantageous to to do better than the people around you - compete with and destriy everyone is how it morphs out in real life as adults.*** compete....absolutely. destroy....only if you want to break the law. i love to beat the proverbial hell out of my work competition and there is no law preventing me from doing so. please tell me how providing the best service and product to consumers is somehow destructive.
  22. the bigger question is, why does anyone in the world put any creedance in what these entertainers say or believe? their perception of the real world is so darn skewed in my opinion b/c of the godlike status the public gives them. it's our fault for putting them on a pedestal. i mean really, what do these people actually do....make us laugh or provide some type of frivilous passtime. matt lauer should have asked him when he had time to earn his medical degree. tom cruise is a joke outide of his acting skill sets, which are pretty lame....in my opinion.
  23. someone may have asked this already, but does anyone know how the local governments will valuate the property once they deem it fit for their use? i'm sure they will lo-ball it somewhere short of a condemned property, but that will be a scary issue once the dominos start to fall. i think it will be slowly then suddenly. it will take major balls to be the first to do it even though it's legal now, but once the first one goes.....whoa nelly! i have actually aborted my pursuit of two investment properties this past week b/c of this case. i might not be in the majority, but if i am the housing industry is in for a serious enema!
  24. i like the way you think Rookie120. it's nice to hear someone say they don't expect the government to do for them what they can do for themselves. i admit there are always going to be some hard luck cases out there that do need assistance, but you are proving it can be done. i worked two jobs in high school, worked my way through college and am still busting arse. not once have i said...poor me why can't the government or some rich person do it for me. good on you Rookie120. if you keep that attitude up one day you will get where you want to go. most people sit and wait and you are going out to get it. i have a relative who constantly calls me asking for loans and i would love to help him, but you know why i don't. b/c he works maybe 20 hours a week and doesn't even make an effort to find another job. why, b/c he can call me and guilt me into giving him some money. meanwhile he has enough cash to smoke 2 packs of marlboros a day, hit the bar every night and live at a subsistence level. the significance of the cigs is that he can't comprehend that they are casing his respitory problems not to metion his cash problems. i have even offered him a job with me, but he would have to work 50-70 hours a week full time.....and you know what the answer to that one is already.
  25. hey speedracer i think i must have put that quote in post wrong or you got the wrong dude. i am not for socialized medicine. i worked in the heatlhcare field for 11 years and i can tell you one thing about the closest example we have here, the VA system, it's absolutely atrocious. i think it would be nice and a pipe dream to have it for everyone, but i dont' think it's feasible. nothing is free in the world. i was merely making a point that no one is entitled to free healthcare....or any healthcare period....under the Constitution.
