  1. Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FD2I8OqbS0#watch-vid-title There's a thread in here somewhere on the subject, but the video says it all. And yes, this technique does work very well. Thank you guys for the tip!!! I didn't knew that! Very nice!!
  2. Do "they" recommend the Stiletto as a good wingsuit canopy? Did I posted a wingsuit jump with line twist???
  3. Because "they" recommend for wingsuit jumps, bigger p/c and longer bridle.. I will change it again and I will see the results...
  4. Hello there! I want your opinion about my problem.. I am jumping a stiletto 135 for about 180 jumps right now. All my openings were perfect and on heading. Since i started wingsuit jumps(with this canopy) I decide to change my pilot chute with bigger and with longer bridle. The previous pilot chute was 24" and 80" (If i remember correct) the bridle.. The new one is 28" and 100" bridle.. After this "change" I lost my smooth and on heading openings of my canopy and "always" i have bad, strong openings. In the last two jumps I had line twist. I managed to clear it in the first jump but on the last jump(not wing suit) I used the plan "B" see the video..
  5. Hi! First of all, like the other guy said, the RDS is not only for swooping.. I am also camera man for tandems in my DZ and in of the tandems the slider stuck with my camera somehow and I wasn't able to look around..With the RDS I just pull the slider. Now about the WS and the stiletto....I never had this kind of openings,(according the link) with or without the RDS. Maybe the wing load is one reason..except the body position, the time of pull the pilotchute etc.. I always stop the flying with the wingsuit and I freefall for 500-700 ft.. Like I said with the RDS the openings are ALWAYS soft and on heading..I have a lot of videos to upload.. Here is my first jump with the s-fly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLXEWC57nes Also I had some terrible openings with pilot,spectre,sabre2... i can't compare my stiletto with those openings.. Also I am the only WS skydiver in my country-DZ so I don't have to worry for other skydivers in the air..
  6. Hello there! Just a question-opinion..:-) I am jumping my stiletto loaded 1:1,2 with my sfly expert.. Is it so dangerous? Also I have an RDS (only the slider) and the openings are very smooth with long snivel...and ALWAYS on heading.. I have almost 10 wingsuit jumps and almost 170 with the stiletto...I feel very comfortable with this canopy and I don't want to sell it... What is your opinion about that?
  7. Good for you!! Can you inform about the exit altitude and pull altitude? I am asking because I can't fly more than 87" from 9.800ft and pull at 3.000ft with my s-fly expert.
  8. Looks like you ride a GSXR Yes you have right!!!! It was a 89' 1100 GSXR!! But how do you understad that?
  9. Firstly are you sure the tire is bald? Many sports bike tires don't look to different to that on the shelf. Secondly improvisation really impresses me - I like seeing people think laterally. Yes Man!! This tire was really bald! At least on the center. You can see in the center (not at this picture) the metal lines inside the material.. It was my boss's bike and I am motorbike technician.... And the reason for that was a very small stone..!! To understand the shape of the tire :-)))
  10. I have it all the time in to the gearbag.. But it is a good way for extra breaking power right??
  11. Yeah I know,but the bike wasn't mine....:-)))
  12. Hey guys! I want to share with you this very good way to return to your home from the DZ if you have a flat tire on your bike.. I didn't had a repair kit with me BUT I had my rig!!:-)) I was took two rubbers from the main bug and Check the result...:-)) It works really good without problems.. The only difficult thing is to insert the knot inside the tyre. It keeps with full psi on the weel for 2 days!!!!
  13. Hello Threre! Good thinging about the solution.!! I use this one on the photos for my self. :-)) It is also very simple and you can install it on the rig in 1 minute. No rigger or machine. You need to make two knotes on these buggie cords. You can found it on www.lookma.de
  14. I didin't knew that..!!It sounds easy..if it works. Also it depends from the size of the canopy, or wing load right? The smaller canopy-more speed-easier to clear the line twists.. Larger canopy-less speed-takes a little more time to clear the line twist .. That's my opinion.Am I right? As I said,I didn't knew this.
  15. Yeah, now it is clear... The mudflap cover is the reason....
  16. Finally I made it.. Thanks to Dse and monkycndo I managed to attach the altitrack onto "the wedge". I hope to jump it this weekend and found it easy.. Thank you guys for the help..
  17. It helps me a lot.. I was confused with the front velcro on the "wedge" but I thing you are using the "digi pouch" from lookma to attach the front loop of the altitrack right? Thank you very much..:-))
  18. Does anyone have any idea how can I mount my altitrack onto the Wedge or on the bonhead altimount??? I can't figure out a good and safe way for it and also easy to remove to on-off the altitrack.. I want the altitrack for the logbook and the data.. Also I can't used to the digital altimeters.. I prefer the analog style of the altitrack.. Thank you.
  19. Thanks for the help guys. Ross ,I am ok with "the wedge" I believe it is better than the bonehead because it is flexible and it is not possible to hurt on a bad landing or something. The problem is me,because I didn't check it at all. I will switch the altimeters and took the viso2 on the hand and I will try it next time. Also I will try to turn with your way. Thank you.
  20. I have one!! "The wedge" from Lookma.de and the Viso on it,but do you believe it that in two jumps I didn't check it at all??? On the first jump I was focused to the flight, because of the low altitude and the first jump with the suit..I checked the altitrack. Today Because of the same reason I didn't check it at all. I had it in my mind but I didn't do it..
  21. Hey there! I did today one more jump. The exit was from 8370ft and pull at 2500ft.... I did 65" until the deployment.. I am very happy for this result.(not for the deployment altitude,But I wanted to stay more :-))). ) One question. If I do turns,am I loosing altitude? For sure I do but how much? Because the plane is small (c-182) and we are only three persons in it I can't wait to much before exit from the plane and I have to do a "U" turn to stay close to the dz... Also what kind of altimeter do you use? I have the altitrack and I love it,but on this jump after the deployment I couldn't pull my hand from the hand loop of the suit because of the gloves and the altitrack. So I cutaway the wings (also the hand loops) to go for the toggles.. It is too "fat" the velcro on the wirst... Any idea? Thank you.
  22. Stiletto 135 with RDS.(only the slider) Because of the rds the canopy has a long snivel(soft openings) and ALWAYS on heading.. I have almost 100 jumps with the RDS.
  23. I will not fly near to anybody for a long time.. Espesially to a tandem.. or another open canopy.. It is very dangerous (at least for my level) and it is more "stunt" than "have fun". In fact you have to discuss it with the other person before do this things..It will not a good surprise to see the other canopy turn in front of you, while you are almost next to him right??? I only want to learn how to fly well this thing..and the best way is to fly and talk with other WS fliers..
  24. Hi! Yes I have in mind a trip to Gap for a skill camp, but not soon due to personal reasons.. I have finished my aff in gap on 2006 and since then I want to visit again this beautiful DZ. Thank you for these "tips" I will try it tomorrow..and post again my progress.:-))
