  1. Here is the photo I saw first..:-) I know that the attach point of the mount is close to the top of the helmet...But my camera is also in the same position.. Only the camera..not the mount..
  2. Why ask, if you're not willing to listen to what several others have told you? there are three helmets in the photo I uploaded. All three of them are easily configured for filming the back. If you look at the far helmet (full face), it has the mounts placed to shoot the back with a short billet Israeli arm. I am willing to listen someone with more experience than me..But I want to film my back while I am wingsuiting...and lOOKING THE GROUND... How can I do this with my camera on the top of the helmet???I don't want to film the sky.... I will post a snapshot from a video to see (the helmet) what I mean..as soon as I found it..
  3. Can you please upload a photo? And I am always turn my head in to my chest while pulling with my cameras (still and camcorder).. So this thing will go straight up while I am doing this.. Where is the problem? Also I am "always" looking the ground while I am wingsuiting...I can't find another way to rec my back while I am looking down...during the flight...
  4. So,until now...I have a huge snag point,I will lose my camera,my reserve is not able to deploy,it will hit by risers...etc.. Any good words out there? I have seen worst than mine with bigger cameras as well... They are alive by mistake? So,there is no "safe" way to film my back while wingsuiting?? All these videos (base and skydive) on you tube?
  5. Just finished my "project" to film my back while i am wingsuiting..with my contour..Opinions?? :-))
  6. Hello there.. I just bought one contour to film my "back" while I am wingsuiting..I have my cx 105 on top of my cookie MXV.. Does anyone done this before? Is this mounts flexible enough to stick on the curve back of the helmet? Any Ideas? Thanx

  8. All I want to say is that in the video (you can't see the suit) IS the "Elite" suit..according the title.. The suit in the photo ISN'T the "Elite" suit.. Compare the photo with the link and you will notice the differences.. These are two different suits.. Here are another photos of the suit posted here.. It is a prototype only for base jumps....
  9. I am not sure 100%,but this is not the "Elite" suit.. It is something different...for base jumps only...There is no rig in the pictures..only the handles... My opinion... The "Elite" is this suit: http://www.flyyourbody.com/en/online-shop/wingsuits/s-fly-elite.html
  10. the cypres will also deliberately try to kill you.. Are you talking about me ??
  11. @swoopguy I will not play this "game" with you.. @pre7117 man the final decision is yours! PS:suddenly the cx is better than the go-pro??
  12. My sony is always auto on everything...Ididn't change something.Only the wide lens conversion.. About the go-pro I have no idea... But if i had a go-pro I will always ALWAYS rec in highest quality...Why less??? Because it is shaking in highest quality??
  13. then you videos are not High definition. They may be good quality, but not high definition. Because my english are poor,I can't answer you as I want...BUT.. The video of the go pro is HD?? Are you comparing the tiny sensor of a go pro camera with the sensor of ANY sony cx camera?? Did you see the different??In my pc is more noticeable..(The quality is lower in you tube) I am using a very good quality lens ,I don't know if it is a HD lens, but When I bought it I have compared it with HD lens heavier and bigger and I don't noticed any HUGE different..The only sure thing is that I am not using a "cheap" SD lens like liquid etc.... The go-pro and the other small cameras are ok for fun jumps and personal staff... If you want to film tandem you may want (not only you) a camera with better picture quality, because someone paid for this video... This is my opinion...
  14. The Go Pro shits all over any of the PC series or HC series cameras by a country mile! Many will say that Sony CX has better image quality than a Go Pro, and that 'is' the case if; You use a HD lens 'and' you record in HD 'and' you edit on specific software 'and' record onto blue ray disks... Most people that use CX series cameras will use liquid/cookie/etc lenses which produce grainy images with poor focus around the outside of the image. Also most people that use CX series cameras record in standard definition in order to speed up the editing process. Only if you record onto blue ray with all the above criteria will you have a HD video. It comes down to what editing system and computer you have to use. Do you actually believe all these things you just wrote??? I always rec on Hd without special lens and program..
  15. Check this link to see the different in colors and picture quality from Go-pro HD camera and my sony cx105. The guy with the black suit is filmed with my sony. The guy with the white suit (me) was filmed with the GO-pro. I did this video for my self and not to compare the two cameras, but I thing it is a good example for this thread..:-)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No7_fD_N-t0 I was used iMovie and the lens for the sony is century optics .55x
  16. No I don't. I just ordered it from a rigger in england.. He never asked me what type-size canopy will I use with it. He just made it and send it. I only told him that I want a 100" bridal,28" pilot chute and tube handle. He made it with 1" bridal for smaller packing and the line is vectran? I don't remember for sure. What type of line has less stretch? This type he used. I can post photos if you want... Are you referring to my new pilot chute right??,with the hard openings?
  17. Finally I changed again the pilot chute with the old one and the sweet openings are back:-) I did 3 jumps today and every opening was very smooth, with long snivel and on heading... I will never change the diameter of my pilot chute again..:-))
  18. Yes I still have it.. And i am going to change it again... I never had this type of openings again....Only now with the new p/c..
  19. Seriously, I'm wondering if your body position has been marginal all along, but "slightly non-symetrical" has now been amplified to "problematic" by the quicker openings with the larger PC. I don't know...Maybe you have right.. .
  20. If you only get linetwist w/o the wingsuit, why not wear the wingsuit on every jump to prevent this? Oh,come on...Don't start this guys... I only asked if the pilot chute is responsible for these openings... I told you that I have 180 jumps with this canopy (20 wing suits) and since I changed the pilot chute for "better" and "safer" I have worst openings.. Maybe my body position wasn't good (I don't know) but what about the last 179 jumps? I didn't change anything about my opening procedures... I know that the stiletto isn't for wing suit jumps, but I am trying to sell it for another canopy.. I can't afford a second rig or a new canopy.. I have to sell this first..
