Aloha everyone, I have a cx110 and the avchd file is being put under a private file that I have to open to get to the avchd file, which is becoming a problemdue to the fact that the editing system autoloads the file fromThe avchd file, now the editor is getting backed up haveing to manually open the file. Does anyone know how to change it so it wont go into the private file and just be under the avchd file. Mahalo for your time pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Ok so I hear a lot of people talking about helmet cutaway systems, my question is what is your main reason for having one? Is it fear of entanglement with your lines/risers/bridal? I have checked out my friends on his ff2 and rawa, and thought that even though your chinstrap is off the helmet is still stuck to your head. My thoughts are if you have an entanglement wouldn't you want to hack your lines with your hook knife and spend a couple of hundred on a lineset instead of four thousand on a new camera set up? I really don't see all the hype in them, but to each his own that being said I'll probably have an entanglement when I go back to work. Thoughts or opinions anyone? pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Skydive Hawaii $8 dollars upjumper $5 dollars staff, of course spring and summer winds are 20-35mph come out and spend your money here and test you skill in some gnarly conditions, I was recently at lodi and I asked Bill in disbelief "no turns?" he threw my money back on the counter and told me to jump somewhere else if I want to do that, He even fired a couple of people when I was there for turns. Told them to leave and dont come back. SO it is serious, but hey come out to hawaii and jump at the most beautiful dz. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Has anyone put a continuous lineset on their katana? Did you notice any difference in perormance? pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Thanks for the advice, Its hard to get past the fact that the winds are almost always 20mph here and gusty. One day I will make it back to the mainland where the conditions are a little better, But till then I will just have to deal with it and keep on practicing. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

so here is my situation I live on oahu where it is really windy right at sea level. I own a crossfire2 129 loaded and 1.47 which I have put over 100 jumps on and am having a lot of trouble getting it to dive. when I was on the mainland at skydive new england it dove like a dream for me I was doing slow 90 degree turns @ 400ft and it was perfect, now that I am back on oahu I cant get it to dive and to go from good swoops on the mainland to doing nothing out here is very frustrating. Any advice from some experienced crossfire pilots would be appreciated. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Get a ringsite, I had the same problem keeping tandems in frame and once I put a ringsight on my helmet it was a lot easier and you know for sure that it is in frame unless your sight is off pull low, fly fast, PLF!

No one got pics of the downplane, not many people out on sunday. Had a blast and yes a case of crwbeer was in order.

On sunday my friend randy took me out on my first crw jumps. After chasing me around for a while till I got comfortable we pulled off a 2stack, side by side and a downplane. I must say I was nervousthe first jump, but when I grabed his canopy and hook my feet into his lines it was the most awesome feeling. I have put about 100 jumps on my 149 loaded @1.2 and it still cooks in so there is no reason to push it. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

I jumped with my old coach from when I graduated aff yesterday, Did a flower exit out the door and held it for half of the jump. He was able to dock on my head and after that we went into a sit. He never really does fujumps anymore beacause he is a cameraflyer and is always working. It was awesome to see the smile on his face when we were headdown. One of those jumps wen you get in the saddle you are screaming with joy. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

I have seen a lot of tandem master at my dropzone who have been pitching drouges so long that it is just work and do not seem to have much fun anymore. I can never see this getting old to me. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Kevin is in california right now I am not sure at what dz. We still have papa dop and jake kilfoyle, and a number of others. Tonight is supposed to be sunset loads but the weather is not going to cooperate, so I have to wait till thursday. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Good idea about the weights. All I wanted to do this weekend was altitude hop and pops, but the weather was not cooperating so I had to go at 3.5. I was supprised that the back riser turns on the crossfire were comparable to the toggle turns on my sabre, and when I pulled the rear risers down at the same time it felt just like flaring with the toggles. pull low, fly fast, PLF!

Swooping is a long term goal for me. A friend of mine told me I should try a 135 and I told him I would rather learn on a lighter wingloading, he laughed and said I should tell everyone on the dropzone to do the same thing. I understand the consequences on do not plan on any hi performance landings for a while. But when I do start I have a lot of great canopy pilots to learn from at my dropzone.

I just received my crossfire2 149 and was able to put a few jumps on it this weekend. I must say that I really love this canopy, the openings are so soft compared to my sabre, and all the flight controls are so smooth. I just wanted to let people know that I highly recommend this canopy.

Good job brother, upright flying is probably the hardest position to fly. Two ways are your best bet to improve your skill. Keep at it brother. pull low, fly fast, PLF!
