I can't belive I'm posting this but in one night I was jumping off a couch to try and beat a friend to a beer and hit my head on a fast moving ceiling fan(houseboat low ceilings) and later ran into a glass door thinking the door was open.I was drunk enough to keep parting,but the next day I had 2 black eyes.

I think that before sept.11th I could have used a good ass kicking.I am 23 and I had no appreciation for the men that fought for my freedom,my good friend is a navy wife and when the USS Cole was attacked it made me think,but now I think about and am thankful for the people who protect my freedoms everyday.I am so glad I did not miss out on this,I will now teach my children to value their freedom and that we can live our daily lives in peace because of our armed forces.Please don't bash,but until this post I thought worn flags were ok,I felt funny when I started flying a flag after sept.11th because I would see worn flags and think wow those people appreciated their freedom before,I hoped mine didn't seen as a fad.I am college educated and after 15 years of school I don't know why you are flying your flag at half mast right now.My children will not be like that.I will teach them to love their country.Hopefully I can learn all these things before I do something stupid and get my ass kickedLOL

So Dz guys my big ones help with free fall,but seems like most guys just like a "b" What do you guys like better?

Just when I was like wow,that is great to hear guys not neccesarily finding something wrong with themselves,but just evaluating themselves was great.Then the post about being a little distant.That is the most frustrating thing when i'ts like"I don't know he seems like such a nice guy,but he's so distant,and aloof.You guys are right as far as I go it works on me,drives me crazy and I want them,but it doesn't feel good,or make girls happy,just unsure.Anyway didn't mean to generalize my feelings to all womens,but my friends agree.I just wish you guys would be honest and up front.LOL I'm gonna go keep dreaming now.

Even though this will mean many inconvienences I don't mind I would rather the airlines err on the side of being too cautious then not.

that is so cool!Yet another great plus to skydiving, I met another girl skydiving and we're both new so we hang out alot now because no one else we know understands.

I think one great part of skydiving is the people,(i'm sure said for the mill. time.)It's great being around challenging, exciting people, I've realized that i had gotten soft-skinned when I would go back and forth w/people at the dz but i'm getting tough-skinned and loving it,(jumping alone pumps me up enough to hold my own!!)usually!!

I know this is strange post but I had no one else to ask.only skydivers how other skydivers think and ive only been in it for 2mo so I don't have any CLOSE skydiving friends yet,none I want to confide in anyway

these may be strange threads,but who else am I going to ask??People at my DZ, I don't think so I've only been jumping for 2mo so I don't know anyone well enough to ask.What,am I going to ask my non-skydiving friends,they have no idea how skydiving is a lifestyle and skydivers are family. I thought this was a great place to ask these????????????

This will be my first year attending,but there is a Harvest Moon Boogie in St.George South Carolina Oct.5,6,7 I've heard it's great the casa will be there,and they almost always have a king air available so it will be there too.

thanks, I had sex with my instructor and then he told me we would have to wait until I was off student status to have sex again that instructors were not suppose to sleep with students,but i'm sure i'm not the only newbie that has fallen prey to a sexy skydiving machine, but now at least I know he was full of shit thanks again.(guess i'll have to find a good looking skydiver at my dz)LOL

I know that not every instructor is the same,but do most unmarried male instructors sleep with alot of their students. I'm interested in my instructor but I see all the hot chics that come down to the DZ and could see most male inst. being whores. Again I know each person is different but really what do you people think?

Is there an uspoken rule about it being wrong if an instructor sleeps with a student?
