What do you mean $100 for one photo?

if they are buying a digital copy on a cd you have to charge for presumed "lost revenue"..
if you were to sell them a copy for 10 bucks then they can go and make as many copies as they like at wal mart or wherever for way less than your time or work is worth.

do some research on your licesensing agreement. i dont think anyone wants to just give thiers away... but then again, you are asking all this on the dz.com so...

  2. any nikon shooters out there who have modified the mc-30 10pin cable ?

i removed a bit of the sheath to see whats what inside, there was a layer of paper(?) then a braided exposed copper section around the inner cables..

didnt go any farther, and didnt cut the cable..

i know that the nikon releases have a "half-press" feature where the shutter release (even the remote one) is depressed halfway the af kicks in...press further and the shutter is released..

has anyone outh there succesfully modified this either converting to mouth switch (difficult due to extra wire(s)?) or just adding additional wire between the two ends.?

either way it looks like ill have to cut to get through helmet..:|

what about adding a stereo style quick release? probably not if there are more than one wire inside..

    any help would be appreciated...

  3. 1- mis-stowed excess brake line 135 jumps, know it all bs. left brake wouldnt clear and already at 1500. cya

2- same exact problem same side. 230ish. slow down every once in a while... 1200ft. chop chop

3- sent rig in for flap stiffener mod, forced to pay for main "inspection" came back packed and ready to go... too bad they never took the main out of the bag to inspect it because they would have seen they hooked it up backwards. 2200 ft. plenty of time. later.

4- 380ish jumps, too drunk to be bother with packing, pay 16y/o non-jumper to pack for me, stay up all night until morning helicopter load, exit from 3500, deploy a bag lock at 2k... that one woke me up.

so 4 in 400. not too shabby.

  4. ive only got 400 jumps but the single worst canopy ive ever flown was a glidepath clipper... bought is out of the newspaper classifieds for a newbie friend "parachute-900$" came in a vector 2 w/a raven

i was scared to deploy after the first one... slam slam slam... worse than a terminal base opening...

a close second was my first canopy, a 1984 "black rainbow" pd190..
    no flare, super porous.

btw.. everyone who said sabre150 was the worst canopy.. youre packing it wrong.

i didnt care for the firebolt139 too much either.

  5. the high speed and small door of the king air at a lowish altitude could be a bit problematic for a lowtime ws pilot.

however, if you need to look to the internet to determine this, then perhaps you arent ready.

good luck, and dont hit your head on the rear stab.

how many, is "relativley few?" post more information about yourself, and people will be more inclined to give you there opinion.

  6. one time, at band camp... i jumped a borrowed rig from an experienced friend and jumper whom i trust... its all good he says, slider up no worries.

opened like shit. diving and line twists and so on...

pulled it out of the stash bag a few weeks later on drugs at bd to repack in the hall way.

first thing, set brakes, ok brakes set, run lines up to canopy.. what is this?

brake lines were routed through the guide rings, but outside the slider grommets...:S

good thing it was vented and overloaded.:|

  8. im 90% sure that was locals... edit to add.

im 100% sure that was locals.

that particular tower has quite a bit of history, and has seen alot of traffic.

i did my first stowed slider down there 2 years ago, sunset(ish) load and promptly got the van stuck in the mud on the way out,... it took 2 hours, a half pint of jack, and 8 packing clamps under the deflated tires for "traction" to get out... goddamn i love this game.

    roll dice roll.

    may she rest in piece(s)
