  1. Do you have any links to see the video ?? As a beginner, I'm quite curious !
  2. Pourquoi "rocher gris" ? Moi je dis plutôt "rocher doux"...
  3. Thanks Faber ! I'm located in Brussels / Belgium, just tell me about postage costs and so on, and I'll send you money via mail.
  4. I know it will sound weird... but a friend of mine is actually applying for a job at a company called "base design" (graphic design company), and he wants to send them some kind of teaser just to make them choose him. We were thinking about something conceptual, so we come with the idea of a worn pilot chute with the word "ready for base" sticked on it. (I will take care of the sticker !). At my DZ nobody has an old crappy dead PC to give (as they won't make a difference between a base PC or a skydive PC, it does not matter). Does any of you want to help ? Postage will be paid of course. I post this on the skydive forum too. Thanks anyway !

    Body Armor

I recently got legs muscle weakening... it sucks but do you think there is any type of leg armor that will help reducing the damage of a bad landing ? (i mean during skydiving, no intention to base beeing muscle sick)
  7. I already thought it was almost hign enough... but never thought it was doable !!
  8. huuuu !! Was it in the inside of a famous church in the north of Brussels ? Anyway... freakin' amazin !
  9. exactly my point. I already saw some drawings, but I just don't catch the move. I know I'll be trained to PLF during my aff course, but I'm just curious.
  10. I search the forum archive about PLF and did not find any video of it... As a complete whuffo wanted to start AFF next spring, I'm quite curious how an PLF look like. I tried to imagine through the descriptions found on the forum, but it would help a lot to see a real one... Any idea where I can find one? Thanks !!
  11. In fact graffiti writers are not that perfect regarding sneaking into places without leaving any "footprints". We got exactly the same problem as BASE have, some of those writers are more considering by putting themselves in light to get recognise than to preserve places. Nowadays all graf places are quite burned around europe, it's waaaay harder to do them, but we still do. I hope BASE will never live that kind of problem, as it would break down the amazing feeling a lot.
  12. The first time I saw a BASE video I was surprised that people were not masked or "blurred". It's a big issue for sites beeing identified, but what about people ? In the graffiti world, videos have quite the same attractive feeling towards graffiti writers. But as you never know who will get a hand on it, all illegal actions are now with people digitally blurred at least. Even if graffiti is quite different (I do not want to make any comparison between those world, but as it sometimes involves trespassing you can make some), videos won't be stopped, it's too attractive. But why not protecting jumpers identity ? (during illegal jumps).
  13. I ain't no base jumper, but sneaking around the movement for years. What Russel lives is my near future as I live with a progressive muscular distrophy, I will loose strenght slowly, in maybe ten years walking will be finish. It's awesome to see that Tom and other manage to look beyond the disability to teach Russel how to jump. It's awesome to see Russel doing what he deeply wants to do: base. It's pretty hard for me to explain what I felt looking at Russel's jumps, I don't know how to say this in english, but in french it's "avoir la larme à l'oeil" : having so much emotions that it makes me cry. Congrats, to all of you.
