Hey All, Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers...and to Laurel for the updates...and Daniel for letting you all know that my family and I are safe. I am in Houston right now at a friends house and wishing I had my own rig to go make a jump but I really should not be thinking about that right now... Anyway, my family rented an apt. in college station and that is where we will be residing till we can return to LA and rebuild our home which still has water in it... I will be flying to TN to get my car in order to go check on my sisters who are in different states at the moment and then return to TX. I am scared, but my family has gone through a lot this past week and my father who is 70 (but not helpless) did not want to go for a variety of reasons: 1. The funeral of my niece is Tue 2. The restaurant my family owns is under contract with the Entergy company to provide food to their workers and to the fire and police departments and emergency workers around the parish I live in... My dad and I are prepared with lifejackets, water, food, and we have a plan if it floods so we are going to do our best. Right now it is not that bad but I know it is going to get bad. This is a really long ass thread and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it but Provon soap is the best! It is a handsoap for hospitals, but that means it is very gentle and won't dry the skin out and it is also an antimicrobial. I also swear by sea salt and warm water for any new piercing. So last weekend I did my first 15 minutes of Tunnel Time at AAC. It is an awesome tunnel with great people! I have 56 jumps and it was so hard for me in the tunnel. I am going back tomorrow with my frustration turned into determination because I really want to learn and progress in my skills. I was really stiff and I guess I was just nervous, but in freefall I have this mad arch. I have come to the conclusion that it is mind over matter and I need to relax just as I would in the sky and not worry about hitting the net, also I need to realize that I have a much smaller flying space than the huge ass sky. I have been practicing on my bed just a basic arch, forward and backward movement and moving side to side just to get the muscle memory down. I know that there are threads about this topic already, but things have changed a little bit... Both the Guner and the Mindwarp now cost $195.00 and from what I have seen on the website pictures the Guner no longer has a seat belt type clasp but one like a mindwarp... So taking into account all this new info give me some opinions on how they compare because I have only tried on a mindwarp and I am very curious as to how a Guner fits and looks.
