  1. TDK and Panasonic work great, had really bad experience with JVC, more than once. Also you get what you pay for. my own 2 cents, from my own experience
  2. Hi to all i got different bits of info about different softwares used to capture from the miniDV cameras to our computer around different threads here and other forums. But i would like to know what would be the best software to do that? i use Premiere Pro to do that but every now and then i have glitches with it, depending on the situation, especially when i have to capture long sequences. what would be your thoughts on this? thx
  3. what box did you use? does bonehead now have a box for the HC series?
  4. what is important is attitude. someone with the right attitude will work hard to get there and will be a better skydiver, and make the team stronger. I feel problems come from the attitude on the ground first. so count yourself lucky to have found those three other jumpers, skydive your ass off, work hard to get better, and enjoy it. my 2 cents
  5. i dont use that model exactly, but i use a manfrotto and i'm happy with it.
  6. many thx to all for your help!!!!!!!!!! i'll go with premiere pro then!
  7. to IGOLOW, Adobe recommends 1Gb of RAM for Premiere Pro, with 512 Mb, you're saying i'd be alright? thx for the help
  8. thx for your input. basically, a have a pentium 4, 3Ghz, with 512Mb RAM, and i'd like to do a bit more than just a few quick videos for my friends or tandems. any of you guys use vegas? or any other opinion on an older premiere version, like 6.0?
  9. I was wondering what kind of video editing software to use. some friends told me about Adobe Premiere Pro but it looks like you need a really powerful computer to run this thing. I also heard about Vegas. what do you guys recommend, out of those two, or any other software thx
  10. i use a rebel 2000 with great results. the other day, a tandem student came by with a few pictures, and they were all kind of greenish. i cant post them, as they were the student's pictures, but basically, the shots were mainly tandem, sky and some clouds. my thought was that the developping process didnt balance the colors right. anybody has an opinion??
  11. i jump a stiletto, loaded at 1.9, with a big helmet. i used to have the exact same problem. what i do is i raise my head a bit more than just looking at the horizon. i'd say i'm between looking at the horizon and looking up at my canopy. so instead of banging the helmet on my hands or fingers, my helmet will pass just behind my hands. my hands are on the risers, i can see what my canopy is doing, and i'm able to fly the opening. glad to know i was not the only one to end my w/e with bruised fingers....
  12. on the cookiecomposites website there is something about it
  13. Hey Remster!! i also looked on the web, and travelling 3 is the one! j'apprécierais, ca fait longtemps que je cherche ce footage!!!
