  1. Thanks everyone! I really love spending my birthday weekend travelling for work. I guess I'll just have to stretch the Bday celebrating out at least a week! Thanks to my Wife, can't wait to read the bday books. I love you!
  2. Bwahahaha! Turtle's perception that you're boring is way off. LOL. It's just because I get all the bubble, energetic attention now. There's just only so much G that can go around. And he know's I don't share.....
  3. See, the first time I read this, it was "I'm coming up with something nasty" and I got all excited. I'm hoping that plenty of rest this week will banish the sickness from the house. It's been a great year, and every day things just keep getting better. I'm a lucky man! The best part is, I know just how lucky I am and I haven't gotten complacent about it. It makes me happy to see the smile on her face when I put a plate of good homemade food in front of her, or have an open beer waiting when I know she's had a hard day....but I do that because I choose to, not because it's expected. And she is so good to me, in every way!!!!

edited to add, this is guppie01 posting... Wow, just now got a chance to watch the videos. Love the fact that there is a skydiver on the team!!! GO ALINGHI!!! g
  5. While it may not make you laugh, I'm hoping this will put a smile on your face! One of your favorites SMOOOCH!!!
  6. Happy Birthday Gorgeous! Hope your day is great, and that it's followed all year with greatness! Big hugs! S
  7. Well, it was visible from Newbury Park. At least the contrail (exhaust trail?) was. It was pretty amazing to see it streaking across the sky. The wind blew the remaining trail away pretty quickly.
  8. Why yes. Yes you did... LOL. Another one is Pepper Garcia's at Santa Maria Airport. Easy flight from So. Cal and decent food. Santa Barbara Airport has an Elephant Bar on the field. Now, where's that lottery ticket?
  9. LOL. That would be Harris Ranch. http://harrisranch.com/gettinghere.php One of these days......

    dammit!

Actually, they get delivered tomorrow. YUMMY!!
  11. LOL. I can't talk. I haven't jumped in just over a year. Sorry to hear about your foot problems, hope that it's fixable. S
  12. Hi Mike, Thanks for the info! Good luck! I hope that you're able to keep things moving forward. There's quite a few people in the area that would love to see a drop zone succeed. If you get to a point where you can drop licensed jumpers, even temporarily, I'm in! Steve
  13. Hi Gary! Yeah, it would be great. I could make it there over lunch. Might be enough incentive for me to get current, too. They'll get my support, for sure. I think it's about time for you to get current! LOL. Steve
  14. Hi Mcraig, (So what's your name?) So, is there a standard notam in place, or do you activate a temporary one when you have jumpers? I don't find anything in place when I run a standard area briefing for the airport. Where's the landing zone? What type of jump plane is in operation there? What will experienced jumper lift tickets cost? Knowing the air traffic in the area, I'm a little skeptical. More information would be great! Thanks, Steve
  15. Don't throw me in the briar patch! Please, not the briar patch! Edit to add: Mmmmm, sammich's 'n bj's. Yep, have to agree that would cancel the torture!
