  1. Well, the video is on my site. Diving line twists...I looked at it..fought it...then...grabbed my handles...it was so peaceful..I waiting until terminal to pull the reserve..probably would have felt better on my neck if I had panicked and pulled the reserve right after cutting away. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  2. Ok. I am getting tired of hearing all the crap about BOC vs. PUD and I want to know from some people that are more skilled....which is better. The BOC or the PUD? Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  3. dude.. on my site I have like 300 or so videos and i use ulead to do it. of all the programs, ulead did the best job of compression and quality. give it a shot. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  4. great! the flying mice are back! just kidding...can't wait....time to party!! what costumes are we jumping in. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  5. Man..thanks for letting us drop in on Saturday to say hi. We had a great time seeing you all and wish that I could spend more time there but I had to get back to SDH. Anyways, you guys rock and have always been great to me. Peace! Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  6. Thank you all for your information. I guess I will have a rigger look at it and determine if the lines are ok. I love the canopy just not the "brain jolts" I get all the time. OH well, again, thanks for the advice. I will get this done ASAP! Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  7. Hey all, I have a Stilleto 150 and it has slammed the hell out of me countless times. The canopy itself has about 450 jumps now (200 of which were mine) and I finally quit using it after one opening caused me to have compressed vert. Here is the deal! I have had multiple experienced Stilleto packers pack this canopy and 9 out of 10 times it opens hard. I recently had a rigger put a pocket on the slider and now it opens slow. I have had some people tell me that doing this is not smart and that is only hides the problem but does not fix it! Is this the case? I am pleased with the canopy as long as it has a pocket slider. Thanks ahead of time for your assistance. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  8. SDH does have $15.00 jumps now. That is the new price..thank god! I love it! I shoot video for them there and it is a blast but if you are wanting to go up during the week as well, then it will not help you too much. We do fly during the week but it is nothing like what you will need. Sounds like the Ranch or Perris is going to be the best place. After all, you might pay a dollar or two more, but you will also be able to go up all the time. Best of luck. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  9. Check this out. The best one that I have ever used...and I have used them all since I am in the electronics industry is the new Phillips. It records on the fly, has fire wire input, and all sorts of other goodies. No disc finalization in order to play in home DVD players..that is the best part..you can bring the dvd back in for more recording after the session yet you can play it on anything inbetween. Go for it ..it will rock your world Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  10. Well let me tell you, the Knights were amazing people and President Bush Sr. and his wife were so kind. She was so worried of me stepping into an ant hill that we had to move around a little before we could get a pic. I put my other rig on on purpose since it says FlyingArab on it. He looked at it before the pic and said "So, you are the flying arab huh?" then we laughed and took the pic. WOOHOO! Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  11. I just wanted to take a moment and thank Skydive Houston and Skydive Aggieland for making this possible. Yesterday, June 10th, myself and a few others had the honor of jumping with the Golden Knights Gold Team out in College Station Texas. They were a bunch of pretty awesome jumpers and they invited us to take part in their 15 way. I just wanted to post this and pulbicly thank all of you that made this possible. I also had the chance to meet President George Bush Sr. and wife Barbara Bush. I have pics of all this on my site at http://www.flyingarab.com. Man, what a day! Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  12. hey thanks..I leave out on Continental on the 5th as well. I will pack one and carry one. The other option is to send all the gear via UPS to the hotel. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  13. Be aware that this answer is going to get some agreements and some disagreements. With everything I am telling you here, you can see examples from my website. This way you can determine if the way my pics is the same way you would like your pics to look. You can view mine at http://www.flyingarab.com under the stills section. The last 800 stills that I have developed over the past 3 months have all had the same setting and the same film. First, the setting was on sports mode and the speed of the film was 200 speed no matter the condition. I was using the manual settings for a while but then realized that the cameras now are so advanced, all you have to do is set the lens to a notch slightly before the infinity mark and put the cam on sports mode (allowing for fast bursts) and you are set. If you ask me, this is somewhat like the golfer that claims he needs new golf clubs or better golf balls to improve his game. No matter what the argument, if you can take a good picture, and you have good aim and a stable centered shot, the settings I have mentioned above will be more than satisfactory for anyone. I too use a canon EOS Elan 7e, EOS Rebel, EOS Rebel GII, and Digital Rebel. I make sure that they are all set this way. Best of luck! Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
  14. I am trying to figure out if it is too much to simply get a huge luggage piece and put both rigs in there and just insure them for $10,000.00. I mean, I could pack them very well and that should remove all problems. What do you think about simply placing the rigs in a big luggage bag and just having them sent like this? The other option is to simply fed ex them to the hotel I will be staying at. Sincerely, FlyingArab www.flyingarab.com
