Actually Marco Island missed all the storms and hurricanes this year. All it got was some wind and rain that didn't effect any of the buildings. To my knowledge there aren't any camping facilities on the island or nearby. You might want to check Naples, Fl it's the closest place off the island about 20-25 minutes away though. _________________________________________ Boboso Rodriguez

It's a ten hour drive from Atlanta to Marco..I've done it alot it's all Highway I-75 takes you to about 8 miles away. If your flying you want to fly into Ft.Meyers it's about a 45 minute drive to Marco from the airport. I think the cab's charge about $50. _________________________________________ Boboso Rodriguez

Count me and Pyke in I'll be out of my cast by then. My folks live on Marco and I go there every few months for vacation.
