Heres my CX-7 box under a box for a 105.. At its widest point the box for the 105 ( Only a small part at the bungy ) is actually wider than the CX-7 box....Its longer by about 20cm.

For me its all about the .3 raynox not being suitable for the side mount.... With something low profile im guessing it should be fine...

Should putting a 37-37 adapter on my .3 raynox ( which doesnt come with one... probably due to adequate clearance) affect the picture at all????

Just for all those people thinking of getting a cookie box for there cx7 just be mindful of the lens you are using and the clearance needed.
eg Raynox .3 wont fit a standard cookie CX7 box unless you use an adaptor as a spacer or get the hole on the bottom drilled slightly more towards the front...
