  1. Out of curiosity, would you mind linking that conversation here in thread?
  2. Of course! Thanks, will proceed shortly.
  3. It's awesome. DSE, do you mind if that guide is going to be translated to Russian? Currently there's some lack in instructional materials about "what to do after FFC is completed", I was suggesting FLB's videos as starting point for my students, but this guide is really a major improvement which could keep student busy (and interested) for few dozens of flights, resulting in improved safety/awareness.
  4. V2. Improved back deflector, different (better) shoulder air inlets. Easier to fly than V1 imo and better distance results.
  5. Russia national flock was 36-way with, say, 10 more people being in alpha-group, this makes about 50 regular wingsuit pilots. I'll add about 20-30 to those since they're actually lone birds who prefer mountains over flocking.
  6. If your wingsuit flights were more comfortable than your regular skydives, then probably recurrency flight is better than recurrency jump :) It was a case for me for jumping 4 months after trauma and 9 months break in jumps total - I found myself scared about freefall but not wingsuit flight. If you're not sure, then I'd advise to make a bunch of jumps to practice and refresh necessary wingsuit-related skills as wave-off with legs, WS-like pull (i.e. not box position) and tracking as well. Anyway it is like bicycle - once you can do it you wont forget how to do it.
  7. I thought that porn movies are not allowed in this forum. Indeed they are.

  9. Site seems to be down. Could anyone email me the program to [email protected] if you have downloaded it. It will be greatly appreciated.
  10. Not so grid-friendly, but still nice picture from yesterday: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/185233_249646511742943_100000927894929_743602_4480367_n.jpg
  11. Well, if some wings are waiting for you somewhere, you'll be there sooner or later. If that's not really your type of fun or you just think "well, its kinda cool, gonna try that someday" - you'll realize it as well during the course. Also, dont think that you waste two hundred jumps just to get to wingsuit. 200 in 18 is about being current with your skydiving skills, not about stubbornly doing 200 jumps in 18 months, and as it was mentioned thousand times before - doing so totally worth it. There are numerous cases when person tries to get into ws sooner than recommended, myself is not an exception, though later you realize that it was not good idea in general.

  13. I would be more concerned about canopy ride than about wingsuit flight, tbh. With a medium-sized wingsuit (say phantom) your flight is about two minutes or less and canopy ride being considerably longer. I broke my right shoulder two years ago and was unable to fully extend hand to reach toggles. To release toggles I had to pull-up myself on risers, then quickly grab both risers with left hand, then quickly release both toggles. Not a wise-think-to-do, honestly, but there was jump abstinence syndrom :) Also, due to overall hand weakness I was totally tired by the moment of landing. Anyway, If you are serious about going back to sports and even wingsuits, I bet you'll get an answer to your question sooner or later while jumping your regular skydives. IMO, if you can manage effective flare after 3-5 minutes flight under the canopy, you could fly wingsuit without serious limitation. Though that's from personal experience, not a recommendation.
  14. Jarno, does it mean that part of Gap's 8-14 august organized flocking/coaching is going to be omitted?
  15. Dont forget to shit bricks while watching :D
