I agree. How can you really enjoy the freefall from 14.5 without an instructor? I felt so so safe with my TM, just because I had no idea of how I would REALLY react...like faint or something. (I smiled all the way down)!!

My TI was soooooooo cute...I didn't mind having him around!!!! Hmmm...tandem for life!!

No...the ages range from 20 to 60 - same comments. And no they aren't ALL hillbillies!

I'm in the Houston area. When I first did this....everybody said they would go with me - I had like 10 people ready to go...then, "oh, uh, a guy on my back, and you know the other excuses." I hate that! Now, the guy fresh out of prison!!! That really is an example I can use to these folks!!! As far as security with their sexuality...um one of the fellas is my dad...he's kinda "old school" and wants a gorgeous red head strapped to him.

That's about a 6 - 8 hour course, right? Also, have you heard of any female tandem instructors???? My dad wants to go tandem, but - no guys...

Several of my male friends are wanting to go jump. They know its a tandem, but, their "excuse" is "I don't want some guy strapped to my ass." I don't think there are any female tandem instructors, or many in my area. This sounds to me like a lame excuse to get out of it. I've explained to them the instructors are professionals, and you have them there so that you can safely enjoy one of the most wonderful experiences in your life. They are like "it looks like a total rush, but, no dudes on my butt, no-way." Suggestions? OR do I just continue with my little smirk just knowing they are chicken.

WelCoME! This is da Sh*t!!! You'll have a new appreciation for beautiful blue skies. I had to fly to the border on Friday. All I could do was think about - oooh..isn't this were I was still in freefall? I was grinnin ear to ear....drinkin' a nice could beer. People around me had no clue!!

Way to go......what a way to "jump" into adulthood!!! My freefall was wonderfull (14,500')....can't wait to do it again. The canopy ride is what freaked me out, cuz I then realized how high up I was!! AHHgg! I can't wait to do it again and again...and just think - I'm afraid of heights!!!!!

All of ya'll suck!! I turned 40 and threw myself out of a plane...thinking this is it...no wrinkles for me...do or die thing. Now, I just can't wait to go again. Gladewater, Texas????Its a small world, I know some people from there!!!!
